Study On The Characteristics Of Syndrome Differentiation And Treatment Of Damp-Heat Syndrome Of Ye Tianshi And Wu Jutong Based On Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System

Objective: The purpose of this study is to use the Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System(TCMISS)to analyze the frequency analysis and association rules of the drugs in the medical records of Ye Tianshi and Wu Jutong in the treatment of Damp-Heat Syndromes,explore the medication rules and characteristics of Ye Tianshi and Wu Jutong in the treatment of Damp-Heat Syndromes,in order to provide effective reference for the prevention and treatment of clinical Damp-Heat Syndromes.Methods: This study collected prescriptions for the treatment of DampHeat Syndromes by Ye Tianshi,the master of febrile diseases in the Qing Dynasty," Clinical Guideline Medical Case"," Zhongfutang Publicly Selected Medical Case"," Ye’s Medical Case Preservation"," Meishoutang Scheme Selection"," Unprinted Ye Tianshi Medical Case" and Wu Jutong " Febrile Disease Sentence"," Wu Jutong Medical Case",and established a corresponding prescription database.With help of the TCMISS,the use rules of prescriptions and drugs used by Ye and Wu in the treatment of Exogenous Damp-Heat,Internal Injury Damp-Heat,Exogenous and Internal Injury Damp-Heat Syndromes were deeply excavated,and the excavation results were presented by one-dimensional frequency tables and network display maps,showing the clinical experience and prescription application rules of Ye Tianshi and Wu Jutong in the treatment of Damp-Heat Syndromes from different angles.Combined with literature research,characteristics of the two doctors in treating Damp-Heat Syndromes were analyzed.Results: In the treatment of Damp-Heat Syndromes,the distribution of four qi,five flavors and meridian tropism of drugs used by Ye Tianshi and Wu Jutong is basically the same,but the application of single drug and the combination of commonly used drugs have their own characteristics.In the treatment of Exogenous Damp-Heat Syndromes,Ye Tianshi took Almond as the core drug,and used more Talcum,Tuckahoe,Ricepaper pith,Agaric,bitter cold and heat-clearing Baikal skullcap root,pungent-cold and heatclearing Gypsum,pungent cool and heat-clearing Weeping forsythia fruit,and qi-regulating dampness Magnolia bark,Tangerine peel,Pinellia tuber,and Radix curcumae;drug combinations mostly use Talcum-Almond,Magnolia bark-Almond,Pinellia tuber-Almond,Round cardamom seedAlmond,Coix seed-Almond,and Sanren Decoction appears.Wu Jutong takes Coix seed as the core drug,and uses more drugs for inducing diuresisi and excreting dampness Talcum,Ricepaper pith,Tuckahoe peel and Tuckahoe,aromatic herbs eliminating dampness Almond,Round cardamom seed and Agastache rugosus,Honeysuckle,Weeping forsythia fruit and Bamboo leaves of pungent-cool and penetrating heat,Baikal skullcap and Coptis root for bitter-cold and heat clearing,Tangerine Peel,Pinellia tuber,Magnolia bark,Immature bitter orange,Ginger for regulating qi,Licorice for tonifying;drug combinations used Honeysuckle-Weeping forsythia fruit,Coix seed-Almond,Round cardamom seed-Coix seed,Honeysuckle-Almond,Talcum-Almond,Weeping forsythia fruit-Almond.In the treatment of internal injury dampheat syndrome,Ye Tianshi used Coptis root and Tuckahoe as the core drugs,and used Rhizoma alismatis,Agaric,Ricepaper pith,Talcum,Coix seed,Coptis root,Corktree bark,Baikal skullcap,Cape sasmine,pungent and cool Honeysuckle,Pinelliae tuber,Magnolia bark,Immaturus bitter orange for regulating qi,Bighead atractylodes rhizome and Ginseng for invigorating therapy.Wu Jutong takes Tuckahoe peel and Rhizoma alismatis as the core drugs,and likes to use light infiltration Talcum,Coix seed,Ricepaper pith,Agaric,Tuckahoe,Almond of pungent drugs for ventilating and aromatic drugs for resolving dampness,bitter and cold Baikal skullcap,Coptis root,Corktree bark,Gypsum of pungent and cold,Sikworm excrement for dissolving turbidity,Cinnamom twig for restoring yang and transformating qi,drug combination Tuckahoe peel-Talcum,Tuckahoe peel-Coix seed,Tuckahoe peel-Rhizoma alismatis,Talcum-Rhizoma alismatis,AgaricRhizoma alismatis,Tuckahoe peel-Talcum-Rhizoma alismatis,which belongs to the system of Siling Powder.In the treatment of exogenous and internal damp-heat syndrome,Ye Tianshi takes Magnolia bark as the core drug,likes to use bland drugs of Tuckahoe,Talcum,Ricepaper pith,Tuckahoe peel,resolving dampness of Almonds,Round cardamom seed,Floweringquince,bitter and cold Coptis root,Baikal skullcap,pungent-cool drugs for penetrating heat Weeping forsythia fruit,Bamboo leaves,Tangerine peel,Magnolia bark,Ginger for regulating qi,Ginseng,Bighead atractylodes rhizome,Licorice for invigorating therapy;drugs combination prefers Pinellia tuber-Tuckahoe,Tangerine peel-Magnolia bark,Ginseng-Tuckahoe,Bighead atractylodes rhizome-Tuckahoe,Tangerine peel-Tuckahoe,TalcumAlmonds,Tuckahoe peel-Magnolia bark,Magnolia bark-Oriental wormwood.Wu Jutong takes Coix seed as the core drug,and likes to use bland drugs Tuckahoe peel,Talcum,Agaric,Tuckahoe for inducing diuresis,aromatic drugs Almond,Round cardamom seed,Rhizoma atractylodis for resolving dampness,bitter-cold Baikal skullcap,Coptis root,Corktree bark,Tangerine peel,Pinellia tuber,Magnolia bark,Immaturus bitter orange for regulating qi,Cinnamom twig for restoring yang and transformating qi,Sikworm excrement for dissolving turbidity,White peony for protecting yin,drug combinations are mostly used Tuckahoe-Coix seed,Coix seed-Almond,Pinellia tuber-Tangerine peel,Tangerine peel-Coix seed,Tuckahoe peelAlmond,Tuckahoe peel-Coix seed-Almond,Cinnamon twig-Coix seed.Conclusions: 1.In the syndrome differentiation and treatment of Exogenous Damp-Heat Syndromes,both Ye Tianshi and Wu Jutong tended to cleared damp-heat were paid attention to facilitating urination and removing dampness.Tri-energizer removing damp pathogen respectively,and treatment of upper-energizer was key.Herbs of expelling dampness and relaxing tendons,and the bitter-pungent-cold method for relieving damp-heat were preferred by Ye Tianshi.Herbs with light quality and floating up were preferred by Wu Jutong.The two solutions of dampness and heat,especially pungent-cool herbs for ventilating lung and penetrating heat,and facilitating urination,reflect the treatment principle of ’treating upper-energizer as feather’.2.In the syndrome differentiation and treatment of Internal Injury DampHeat Syndromes,both Ye Tianshi and Wu Jutong tended to used pungent herbs for regulating qi,and achieved the goal of pungent herbs for dispersion and bitter herbs for purgation,Tri-energizer removing damp pathogen respectively.Herbs for protecting qi and yin,promoting blood circulation and stagnation were preferred by Ye Tianshi.Wu Jutong treated the middle-energizer with method of bitter-pungent-cold,and the key to removing dampness was to promote urination.3.Exogenous and Internal Injury Damp-Heat Syndromes differentiation,both Ye Tianshi and Wu Jutong attached importance to internal dampness,,Tri-energizer removing damp pathogen respectively,protecting vital qi.Herbs of sweet-cold,pungent-cool,sweet-neutral for protecting yin,penetrating heat,tonifying qi were preferred by Ye Tianshi.Wu Jutong used herbs of bitter-cold,pungent-cold,pungent-dry,pungent-warm for clearing heat,dissipating dampness,restoring yang,and took herbs of protecting yin and eliminating indigestion.4.Ye Tianshi and Wu Jutong ’s thought of syndrome differentiation and treatment of Damp-Heat disease originated from "Huangdi Neijing",inherited Zhang Zhongjing,followed Liu Wansu and Zhu Danxi,and learned from the strengths of many doctors from many aspects;the syndrome differentiation and treatment of Tri-energizer as the master and qi,nutrient and blood pattern identification and the syndrome differentiation as the auxiliary.The two doctors pay attention to the two clear humid heat in the treatment of humid heat,and do not hold one side alone.
