Objective:Under the guidance of the theory of "equal emphasis on muscles and bones",the clinical efficacy of massage combined with McKenzie therapy in the treatment of radiculopathy of cervical spondylosis was observed, and compared with conventional massage,to explore a new way of treating radiculopathy of cervical spondylosis in daily clinical activities.Method:78 patients with radicular cervical spondylosis who met the inclusion criteria from December 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the study objects and randomly divided into 2 groups.39 patients in the observation group received massage combined with McKenzie therapy, and 39 patients in the control group received conventional massage therapy. The treatment time of the two groups was 14 days as a course of treatment, once a day, after 14 days of treatment, rest for 1 day, continuous treatment for 2 courses of treatment.Clinical symptoms, signs and pain changes of the two groups were observed before and after treatment, and data were collected using visual analog scale(VAS),cervical spine dysfunction index(NDI)scale and TCM syndrome scores. The collected data were statistically analyzed using SPSS25.0 software. Then the clinical efficacy and the data of each scale were evaluated in the observation group and the control group.Outcome:1.Comparison of various indexes before and after treatment between the observation group and the control group:VAS score,NDI scale and TCM syndrome score scale were statistically different(P<0.01),indicating that both the observation group and the control group had curative effect on radical-type cervical spondylosis.2.Comparison of efficacy between observation group and control group:there were statistical differences in NDI scale and TCM syndrome accumulation table before and after treatment(P<0.01),but there was no statistical difference in VAS score before and after treatment(P>0.05),indicating that the observation group was superior to the control group in cervical spine function improvement, but the observation group and control group had similar efficacy in pain improvement.3.The total effective rate of the observation group was 89.74%,while that of the control group was 76.92%,indicating that the overall curative effect of the observation group was better than that of the control group.Conclusion:1.In this study, under the guidance of "equal emphasis on muscles and bones" theory, massage combined with McKenzie was used to treat CSR,and the overall effect was better than conventional massage.2.Massage combined with McKenzie treatment of CSR is safe and effective, which provides a new method and idea for the future clinical treatment of CSR,and is worth promoting and applying in clinical practice.
