Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Post-stroke Depression With Sun Abdominal Acupuncture Combined With Acupuncture At Siguan Point

Objective:To observe the therapeutic effect difference of Sun’s abdominal acupuncture combined with acupuncture at Siguan(GB24)and conventional acupuncture on post-stroke depression(PSD),and to explore the effect of Sun’s abdominal acupuncture combined with acupuncture at Siguan(GB24)on depression relief,recovery of neurological function and ability to return to society in patients with PSD.Methods:Subjects 60 patients who met the inclusion criteria and informed consent were randomly divided into observation group and control group with 30 cases in each group.The treatment group selected the emotional area(i.e.,the first and eighth abdominal areas)and Siguan points in Sun’s abdominal acupuncture theory,and the control group selected the following points:Baihui,Yintang,Shenmen(bilateral),Taichong(bilateral),Neiguan(bilateral),Danzhong.One course of treatment is 14 days,continuous acupuncture for 6 days,rest for 1 day,and two courses of treatment are one treatment cycle.The results of Hamilton Depression Scale-24(HAMD-24)United States Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)and Activities of Daily Living Scale(BI)before and after treatment were compared and analyzed.All the above data were statistically analyzed by SPSS25.0software.Result:1.Two groups of patients before treatment to compare age,sex,stroke,and the rating scale before treatment,suggest two sets of baseline levels have no statistical significance(P>0.05),comparable.2.2 weeks and 4 weeks after treatment in both groups,compared two groups of HAMD-24 score,statistically significant difference(P<0.05),the treatment group is better than the control group.3.2 weeks after treatment in both groups,to compare two groups of NIHSS score,there was no statistically significant difference(P>0.05),two groups of curative effect,no differences;4 weeks after treatment,compared two groups of NIHSS score,the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05),the treatment group is better than the control group.4.2 weeks after treatment in both groups,to compare two groups of BI rating,there was no statistically significant difference(P>0.05),two groups of curative effect,no differences;4 weeks after treatment,compared two groups of BI rating,the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05),the treatment group is better than the control group.5.5.Two groups of patients after 4 weeks after treatment,treatment group total effective rate was 89.60%,control group total effective rate was76.67%,statistically significant difference(P=0.005<0.05),the curative effect of treatment group was superior to that of the control group.Conclusion:1.Four shut abdominal needle therapy combined with acupuncture point compared with routine acupuncture method,two groups of HAMD after treatment-24 score,NIHSS score decreased and BI scores are improving;2.Four shut abdominal needle therapy combined with acupuncture point treatment in improving the degree of depression,nervous function recovery and return to daily ability is superior to conventional acupuncture method.
