| Objective:Observation acupuncture dan-zhong point in the clinical curative effect for treatment of post-stroke depression.Methods:The 50 cases of post-stroke depression patients were randomly divided into the observation group(the Dan-zhong point group)and the control group(no Dan-zhong point group),25 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional acupuncture treatment,the observation group based on the conventional acupuncture plus dan-zhong point.Dan-zhong point with twirling lifting and thrusting the two groups were treated 1 times daily,for 50min,4 weeks for 1 courses.Before and after treatment,HAMD scale and MESSS scale score were used to evaluate the severity of depression and the degree of neurological deficit,and to evaluate the efficacy of the two groups.Results:1.After treatment,the two groups of patients with HAMD scale and MESSS score were significantly lower than before treatment(P<0.05);2.The comparison of HAMD scale score before treatment in the two groups,P>0.05,was comparable.The difference of HAMD scale score between the two groups after treatment and before treatment,P<0.05,the score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant;3.The comparison of the MESSS scale score between the two groups,the score before treatment compared with P>0.05,was comparable.After treatment,the MESSS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05),the difference was statistically significant;4.The clinical curative effect of the two groups,the recovery rate of the observation group was 72%(18/25),which was better than that of the control group by 40%(10/25)(P<0.05).By statistical test,the difference was significant.Conclusion:1.Dan-zhong acupuncture point can effectively improve the symptoms of depression in stroke patients;2.Dan-zhong acupuncture point contributes to the recovery of neurol-ogical function. |
