Objective:In this study, oral Chinese medicine Hongyuan capsule was used to treat patients with syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis after hip arthroscopy for mixed femur acetabular impingement.Through comparison of efficacy, the curative effect of Hongyuan capsule on the rehabilitation of patients with mixed femur acetabular impingement after hip arthroscopy was observed,so as to provide clinical data for the rehabilitation of hip arthroscopy. Methods:Based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria,56 cases were acquired between November 2020 and September 2022,all of whom were admitted to the sports medicine department of Cangzhou Hospital for Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine in Hebei Province. After undergoing hip arthroscopy, patients with a diagnosis of mixed femoroacetabular impingement(FAI)were treated for Qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome. In the experimental cohort,28 cases were reported, while in the control cohort,28 cases were reported.During the control cohort, the traditional functional rehabilitation was conducted.Based on this premise, the experimental cohort received oral Hongyuan capsules, and both cohorts discontinued the use of the drug after two weeks. The VAS value,Harris value,TCM syndrome value,IHOT value, hypersensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP)as well as other observational indicators were obtained before therapy, two weeks following therapy, six weeks following therapy, and ten weeks following therapy. The data were analyzed using SPSS26.0 software(P<0.05 showed that there was a statistically significant difference in the data)in order to examine the efficacy of the Hongyuan capsule on pain and functional rehabilitation in patients suffering from a syndrome of qi stagnation as well as blood stasis following hip arthroscopy for mixed FAI.Outcomes:There was one patient who dropped out of the experimental cohort and one patient who dropped out of the control cohort.Data were collected following the follow-up of 54 patients,27 from every cohort.1.The experimental and control cohorts did not differ statistically significantly in age, gender,BMI,hip side,or other general characteristics(P > 0.05),which indicates that they were comparable.2.Observational indications:Before therapy, there was no significant difference in the VAS pain value,Harris value,IHOT value,TCM syndrome value, and hs-CRP between the two cohorts(P > 0.05),and baseline values were similar between the two cohorts.(2)There was a statistically significant difference(P < 0.05)between the two cohorts based on the VAS pain value,Harris value,IHOT value, and TCM syndrome value prior to therapy, two weeks following therapy, six weeks following therapy, and ten weeks following therapy. Both cohorts showed significant differences in hs-CRP sample information before and two weeks following therapy(P < 0.05).There was effectiveness in each cohort.(3)At 2 weeks,6 weeks, and 10 weeks following therapy, the VAS pain value,Harris value,IHOT value, and TCM syndrome value were significantly different between the two cohorts(P < 0.05).In the two weeks following therapy, there was a statistically significant difference in hypersensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP)levels between the two cohorts(P< 0.05).Experimental cohort effectiveness was greater than control cohort effectiveness.Conclusions:1.When Hongyuan capsule was applied to patients with blood stasis syndrome and qi stagnation following hip arthroscopy for mixed FAI,remarkable improvements were observed in reduced postoperative pain and improved hip function, which was found to be effective in enhancing hip function, enhancing patients’ quality of life following surgery,as well as inncreasing the TCM syndrome value.2.Based on traditional rehabilitation therapy,Hongyuan capsules are helpful in promoting early functional exercise and speedy rehabilitation in patients with qi stagnation as well as blood stasis syndrome following hip arthroscopy for mixed FAI.
