The Clinical Observation Of Modified Xin’an Biyuan Fang In Treatmen Of Chronic Rhinosinusitis With Throat Reflux

OBJECTIVE:Based on the experienced TCM prescription of Modified Xinan Biyuan Fang by Zheng’s laryngology department in Xin’an,this topic observed the improvement of nose-related and throat reflux symptoms of in the treatment of chronic rhinosinusitis with throat flux throught taking Modified Xinan Biyuan Fang.We innovative academic research on the treatment of nasal diseases of laryngeal department,and provide a new treatment idea for improving the clinical efficacy of chronic rhinosinusitis with throat flux(their TCM syndrome differentiation belonged to ‘heat in lung and gallbladder’).METHODS:From January 2021 to October 2022,we collected 42 cases of patients with chronic rhinosinusitis who were willing to undergo endoscopic sinus surgery in ENT inpatient department of Anhui Provincial Hospital of TCM and their syndrome belongs to ‘heat in lung and gallbladder’.The patients were randomly divided into 2 groups,with 21 patients in each group.Conventional treatment(ESS and perioperative treatment)added with Lansoprazole enteric-coated tablets were treated on control groups,and Modified Xinan Biyuan Fang on the basis of the control group were treated on treatment groups.After 4 weeks of treatment,the difference of pepsin concentration in nasal secretion of patients in them and the symptom score of patients with sinusitis,the score of nasal endoscopy were all recorded.Compared the reflux symptom index and the overall VAS score of them.And the clinical efficacy of the two groups of patients was counted 4 weeks after treatment.RESULTS:After treatment,RSI score and pepsin concentration in nasal secretion of patients between two groups were lower than those previous treatment(P<0.05),and RSI score and pepsin concentration in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Besides,the scores of symptoms of sinusitis,nasal endoscopy and overall VAS symptoms in the treatment were better than those in control group(P<0.05).The 4 week follow-up showed that the total effective rate in the treatment group(85.71%)was better than that in the control group(61.90%),P<0.05.CONCLUSION:Compared with Lansoprazole enteric-coated tablets alone,Modified Xinan Biyuan Fang combined with them can significantly improve the nasal and throat symptoms of CRS patients with laryngopharyngeal reflux.Follow-up for 4 weeks is effective,which provides guidance for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of CRS with throat flux.It is worthy of clinical application.
