Objective:To construct eligibilities and responsibilities index system for kidney transplant case managers, and provid a reference basis for the admission, job setting, and assessment of case managers for kidney transplantation.Methods:(1)The literature research method was used to develop a pool of eligibilities and responsibilities index system for kidney transplant case managers;(2)Adopt the expert meeting method to improve the eligibilities and responsibilities index pool for kidney transplant case managers;(3)Carry out semi-structured interviews with medical and nursing staff, patients and families, check the results of the interviews, and screen and evaluate the pool of index entries to initially form the kidney transplant case manager eligibilities and responsibilities index system;(4)Determine the content of the kidney transplant case manager eligibilities and responsibilities index system by asking experts to rate the importance of the indexes and provide comments through the Delphi expert consultation method;(5)The weight of indexes at all levels was calculated using hierarchical analysis to form the final kidney transplant case manager eligibilities and responsibilities index system.Results:(1)Based on the results of the literature study,a pool of indexes was developed for the eligibilities and responsibilities index system for kidney transplant case managers: the eligibilities included 3 primary indexes and 5 secondary indiexes. The responsibilities included 4 primary indexes and 15 secondary indiexes;(2)A meeting of 6 experts in the field of kidney transplantation was organized to improve the eligibilities and responsibilities index pool for kidney transplant case managers: 1 new primary indiex and 6 new secondary indiexes for eligibilities;2 new primary indiexes for responsibilities;(3)Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 18 kidney transplant-related personnel to develop a preliminary system of eligibilities and responsibilities index for kidney transplant case managers: eligibilities included 4 primary indexes,11 secondary indexes and41 tertiary indexes;responsibilities included 4 primary indexes,17 secondary indexes and 51 tertiary indexes;(4)A Delphi expert consultation was conducted with 20 kidney transplant nursing specialists, and the expert positivity coefficient was 100% in both rounds. The coefficient of expert familiarity was 0.930,the coefficient of expert judgment basis was 0.855,and the coefficient of expert authority was 0.893.The Kendall harmony coefficients of the first, second, and third level indexes of eligibilities were 0.210,0.209,and 0.214,respectively.the Kendall harmony coefficients of the first, second, and third level indexes of responsibilities were 0.250,0.195,and 0.230,respectively.by chi-square test, the differences were statistically significant(p < 0.001).The eligibilities and responsibilities index system for kidney transplant case managers was determined. The eligibilities included 4 primary indexes,9 secondary indexes and 27 tertiary indexes. The responsibilities included 4 level 1 indexes,16 level 2 indexes and42 level 3 indexes;(5)The weight of indexes at each level was derived using hierarchical analysis, and the weight of indexes at the level of eligibilities were,in descending order, basic conditions(0.400),general competence(0.400),and professional competence(0.200).The weights of the indexes at the level of responsibilities were,in descending order,planning(0.4747),assessment(0.2551),implementation(0.1630),and evaluation(0.1072).Conclusion:The eligibilities and responsibilities index system for kidney transplant case managers constructed in this study is scientific, rational, reliable and innovative, which can provide a basis for the eligibilities, job setting and assessment and evaluation of kidney transplant case managers.
