| Autism Spectrum Disorders(ASD)is a widespread neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by high incidence rate and high heritability. It is now common in children, with varying degrees of mental retardation and serious social barriers.Social interaction difficulty is the most significant feature of autistic children, and it has been the focus of research.According to the traditional Theory of Cognition, the brain of autistic children is like a dysfunctional computer, which cannot accurately receive and understand the signals in social situations, which makes it difficult for them to carry out appropriate social interaction.According to the Theory of Embodied Cognition, autistic children’s physical experience and social interaction environment should be paid more attention. This project is led by professional art practitioners, based on the Theory of Embodied Cognition to design the art intervention environment reasonably, and make a reasonable discussion on the art intervention machine.Using the Humanistic approach of Expressive Art Therapy intervention, through sincerity, concern, acceptance and empathy, the destructive psychological energy can be transformed into a positive creative process. The specific intervention and evaluation method is group experiment combined with case observation.By observing the performance of autistic children in the process of artistic creation and discussing their works,we can understand the changes of autistic children’s emotion and social interaction mode.In the experiment, five children were all from Xi’an Bailu Qinzhi Center. They were given 12 classes of painting art intervention, including oil painting stick graffiti, ink blowing painting, rubbing(finger painting),manual collage and other art forms. From the experimental results,in the process of intervention, the prosocial behaviors of autistic children in social interaction, such as active gaze and body touch communication, increased, social withdrawal behavior and aggressive behavior decreased. The design of this art intervention experiment fits the characteristics of autistic children’s perceptual movement and emotional system, and verifies the important role of physical experience and environment in autistic children’s social learning.By using the interdisciplinary research methods of art, cognitive psychology, philosophy, sociology and mental health medicine, and drawing relevant theoretical knowledge, this paper discusses the influence of benign social environment and aesthetic experience on their social interaction,so as to improve the social adaptability of autistic children. |
