Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Knee Osteoarthritis Of Liver And Kidney Deficiency By Qi Acupuncture At The Junction Of Tendons

Objectives By observing the clinical efficacy of qi acupuncture at the junction of tendons in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis of liver and kidney deficiency to compare the curative effect with routine acupuncture with dialectical selection of points.Preliminary to provide a certain basis for clinical application of this treatment.Methods A total of 62 patients with knee osteoarthritis of liver and kidney deficiency met the inclusion criteria were selected and randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group with 31 patients in each.The treatment group was given qi acupuncture at the junction of tendons,while the control group was given routine acupuncture with dialectical selection of points.The course of treatment in both groups is 3 weeks,and the treatment is from Monday to Saturday.The VAS,TCM syndrome scores,WOMAC,JOA for knee osteoarthritis scores before and after treatment were recorded and statistically analyzed to evaluate clinical efficacy of two treatments.Results 1 The general conditions of cases in groups were compared and analyzed,and the difference was not statistically significant(P > 0.05).2 Compared with before treatment,the scores of VAS in two groups of cases showed a clearly downward trend,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);after treatment,the difference between the two groups of cases was statistically significant(P < 0.05).3 Compared with before treatment,the scores of TCM syndrome in two groups of cases presented an obviously downward trend,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);after treatment,the difference between the two groups of cases was statistically significant(P <0.05).4 Compared with before treatment,the scores of WOMAC in two groups of cases showed a clearly decreasing trend,and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05);after treatment,the difference between the two groups of cases was statistically significant(P < 0.05).5 Compared with before treatment,the scores of JOA in the two groups of cases showed a clearly upward trend,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);after treatment,the difference between the two groups of cases was statistically significant(P < 0.05).6 The clinical efficacy of the two groups,the effective rate of the treatment group was 90.32% and of the control group was 74.19%,and the difference in the curative effect between the two groups was statistically significant(P <0.05).Conclusions 1 To the knee osteoarthritis with liver and kidney deficiency patients,both qi acupuncture at the junction of tendons and routine acupuncture with dialectical selection of points can release pain dramatically and improve movement disorder.2 Compared with routine acupuncture with dialectical selection of points,the clinical effect of qi acupuncture at the junction of tendons is more excellent.3 As a modern therapy with therapeutic effect being significant,qi acupuncture at the junction of tendons in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis of liver and kidney deficiency,safety being reliable,which deserve to be promote clinical applied.Figure0;Table15;Reference 131...
