Objective: To observe the effects of ginger moxibustion Shenque Point on gastrointestinal motility and related organs in rats with functional gastrointestinal diseases of liver depression and spleen deficiency(FGIDs).To investigate the mechanism of ginger moxibustion in treating FGIDs of liver depression and spleen deficiency.Methods: Fifty male SPF SD rats were randomly divided into normal group,model group,ginger moxibustion group,Prozac group and moxapride group.The normal group was fed normally.The other 4 groups were modeled by compound etiology method for 3 weeks.After successful modeling,the rats were bound for 30 min a day,and the gavage volume of each group was 1 ml/100 g.Model group was given 0.9% sodium chloride solution,ginger moxibustion group was given 0.9% sodium chloride solution after ginger moxibustion for 30 min,Prozac group was given prozac solution,and moxapride group was given moxapride solution for 2consecutive weeks.The mental state,behavior,feces and other systemic conditions of rats in each group were observed.Feed quantity was measured every other day,body weight was measured every week,feed quantity and body weight were calculated for consecutive 5 weeks.Open field experiment and sugar water bias experiment were conducted before and after modeling and intervention.After intervention,gastric residual rate and small intestine propulsion rate were measured,viscera coefficient calculation and viscera observation were performed.Results:(1)Body weight and food intake: compared with model group,body weight and food intake in ginger moxapride group and Moxapride group increased(P < 0.05 or P < 0.01);No significant difference was found in the other groups(P > 0.05).(2)Number of climbing,standing and modifying: compared with the same group after the intervention,the number of climbing,standing and modifying of ginger moxibustion group were increased(P < 0.05 or P <0.01);No significant difference was found in the other groups(P > 0.05).(3)Sugar water bias experiment: ginger moxibustion group and Prozac group increased sugar water bias(P < 0.05 or P < 0.01);No significant difference was found in the other groups(P > 0.05).(4)Small intestinal propulsion rate and gastric residual rate: compared with normal group,small intestinal propulsion rate decreased and gastric residual rate increased in model group and Prozac group(P < 0.01);No significant difference was found in the other groups(P > 0.05).Compared with model group,small intestine propulsion rate was increased in ginger moxibustion group and moxapride group,while gastric emptance rate was decreased(P <0.01 or P < 0.05).No significant difference was found in the other groups(P > 0.05).(5)Organ coefficient and organ observation: Compared with normal group,the coefficients of liver,heart,spleen,lung and kidney of rats in each group had no statistical significance(P > 0.05),and no pathological changes were observed in stomach,small intestine,liver and spleen of rats in each group.Conclusions:(1)Ginger moxibustion can promote gastrointestinal motility,anti-depression,and has no damage or influence on related organs(liver,heart,spleen,lung,kidney,stomach,small intestine).(2)Ginger moxibustion has a definite effect on FGIDs of liver depression and spleen deficiency,which is worthy of clinical promotion and application. |
