| PurposeTo evaluate the clinical effect of ginger-separated moxibustion at Shenque(CV8) for adjuvant treatment of diarrhea after laparoscopic appendectomy, by observing the changes of indexes, including clinical symptoms and physical signs.Methods60 Patients of diarrhea after laparoscopic appendectomy were randomly divided into (the treatment group) and (the control group). The patients in the control group were treated by the normal treatment (anti-inflammatory,supplying water, electrolyte and energy); The patients in the treatment group were treated by ginger-separated moxibustion at Shenque(CV8) based on the normal treatment. The changing of the clinical symptoms and physical signs before and after 3 days treatment was noted, find the difference of the treatment group and the control group, and get the conclusions.Results1. The significant decrease of the point of clinical symptoms was found in the two groups after treatment (P<0.05). The point of defecation times in the treatment group is less than the control group in the second day and the third day(P<0.05).2. The score of two groups calculated by Nimodipine. The cure rate of the treatment group was better than the control group in the second and third day (p<0.05). Although the effective rate of the treatment group was similar with the control group after therapy (p>0.05), the effective cases of the treatment group was more.ConclusionsThe ginger-separated moxibustion at Shenque(CV8) for adjuvant treatment of diarrhea after laparoscopic appendectomy can relieve the clinical symptoms and reduce the defecation times obviously, the efficiency is better than the simple normal treatment. |
