| Objective:To observe the effect of Governor Vessel Moxibustion on bone mineral density and main clinical symptoms in patients with postmenopausal osteoporosis,to appraise the clinical efficacy of Governor Vessel Moxibustion in the therapy of postmenopausal osteoporosis with spleen-stomach weakness,to contrast the discrepancy of bone mineral density and main clinical symptoms between Governor Vessel Moxibustion and ordinary acupuncture in the therapy of postmenopausal osteoporosis,and to probe into the clinical worth of Governor Vessel Moxibustion in the therapy of osteoporosis with spleen-stomach weakness.Methods:72 patients with postmenopausal osteoporosis with spleen and stomach weakness who met the inclusion criteria were fall evenly into treatment group and control group.Both groups were given foundation therapy and caltrate,and the treatment group was additionally grant with Governor Vessel Moxibustion;the control group was treated with conventional acupuncture for 90 days,and followed up 3 months after therapy.The discrepancy of bone mineral density,TCM syndrome index score and visual analogue score before and after treatment and during follow-up were contrasted,and the clinical efficacy was analyzed.Results:1.Baseline data:There was no remarkable discrepancy in age,course of disease,bone mineral density before therapy,TCM syndrome index score before remedy and visual analogue score before therapy between the two groups(P>0.05).2.Bone mineral density,TCM syndrome index score and visual analogue score:There were significant variaton in bone mineral density,TCM syndrome index score and visual analogue score between the two groups after therapy(P<0.01).There were remarkable variation in TCM syndrome index scores and visual analogue scores between the two groups after therapy(P<0.05).3.Clinical efficacy:The overall response rate was 93.94%in the treatment group and 83.87%in the control group.There was no remarkable discrepancy in the overall response rate between the two groups(P>0.05).The two groups were discrepant in efficacy grade(P<0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group;the markedly effective rate was 78.79%in the treatment group and 48.39%in the control group.The discrepancy between the two groups was noteworthy significant(P<0.05).The noteworthy effective rate of the treatment group was superior to the control group.4.Follow-up efficacy:There were noteworthy discrepancy in bone mineral density,TCM syndrome index score and visual analogue score between the two groups at followup(P<0.05).There were remarkable discrepancy in TCM syndrome index score and visual analogue score between the two groups at follow-up(P<0.05).Conclusion:Governor Vessel Moxibustion in the therapy of postmenopausal osteoporosis of spleen and stomach weakness has a prominent curative effect in enhancing clinical symptoms,and can enhance bone mineral density,which deserve the clinical application. |
