Changes Of Clinical Symptoms And Effects On Bone Mineral Density Of Postmenopausal Osteoporosis Of Kidney-Yang Deficiency Type Treated By Du Moxibustion

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of moxibustion therapy and conventional acupuncture therapy in the treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis with kidney yang deficiency,and to analyze and compare the degree of improvement of patients’ symptoms and the difference in efficacy between the two methods before and after treatment.To further clarify the mechanism of action of moxibustion in the treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis with kidney yang deficiency,and to provide a more optimal treatment plan for the clinical treatment of this disease.Methods:Seventy-two patients with postmenopausal osteoporosis of the kidney-yang deficiency type from December 2021 to June 2022 were selected from the Department of Acupuncture and Moxibustion and the Osteoporosis Clinic of the Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.The randomized numerical method was divided into treatment and control groups,with 36 cases in each group.The treatment group was treated with supervised moxibustion,once every 10 days for 3 times as a course of treatment;the control group was treated with conventional acupuncture,once every other day for 15 times as a course of treatment,and both groups were treated for 3 courses of treatment.To observe the changes of bone mineral density(BMD),TCM syndrome score and visual analog score(VAS)before and after treatment and 3 months after treatment in both groups,and to evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of both groups.Results:(1)Intra-group comparison showed that the bone mineral density,TCM syndrome score and VAS score of the two groups were significantly different from those before treatment(P.The inter-group comparison showed that the bone mineral density,TCM syndrome score and VAS score of the treatment group were significantly different from those of the control group in the same period(P<0.05).(2)The overall efficacy of the two groups was statistically different(P<0.05),with an overall effective rate of 94.1%in the treatment group and 73.5%in the control group.The clinical efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group in the treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis with kidney yang deficiency.Conclusion:Du moxibustion therapy can relieve the clinical symptoms of postmenopausal osteoporosis patients with kidney yang deficiency,reduce the degree of pain,improve bone density and improve their quality of life,with reliable curative effect,which is worthy of clinical application.
