Analysis Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndrome Types Of Colorectal Cancer And Professor Qi Yuanfu’s Clinical Experience In Differentiation And Treatment

Objective: To analyze the current research situation of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)syndrome types of colorectal cancer,and classify the collected cases of colorectal cancer according to the “Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Cancer in Traditional Chinese Medicine”.Explore the compatibility and prescription rules and medication experience of professor Qi Yuanfu,the tutor,in the treatment of various types of colorectal cancer.Methods: To summarize the TCM syndrome differentiation of colorectal cancer by ancient and modern physicians.We also collected 201 cases of basic prescriptions for the treatment of colorectal cancer from our tutor.Under the inspection and supervision of the tutor,we classified the cases according to the syndrome differentiation according to the colorectal cancer section in the “Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Cancer in Traditional Chinese Medicine”.The database is established with the help of Excel 2019,and the data is processed with data mining techniques such as frequency statistics,association rules,system clustering and complex network analysis using SPSS Modeler 18.0,SPSS Statistics 23.0,Gephi(V 0.10.1)software.Get the high frequency drugs,traditional Chinese medicine efficacy,sex and taste tropism,commonly used drug pairs,clustering formula and core prescription of the tutor in the treatment of various types of colorectal cancer syndromes,and analyze the tutor’s medication thinking and clinical experience in the treatment of various types of colorectal cancer syndromes.Results: The TCM syndrome differentiation of colorectal cancer is relatively uniform,but the distribution of the number of syndrome types is quite different.201 cases of colorectal cancer were classified according to syndrome differentiation: 57 cases of spleen deficiency and qi stagnation,49 cases of damp-heat accumulation,58 cases of stasis and toxin internal obstruction,21 cases of spleen and kidney yang deficiency,12 cases of both qi and blood deficiency,and 4 cases of liver and kidney yin deficiency.The TCM used by the tutor in different syndrome types has high coincidence.The results of the summary analysis of frequency,efficacy,sex and taste,meridian tropism and drug pairs are as follows:The 18 high-frequency drugs are Bupleurum chinense,Paris polyphylla,tangerine peel,Pinellia ternate,Codonopsis pilosula,raw licorice,bran fried atractylodes macrocephala,trifoliate,bergamot,acacia bark,catechu,hedyotis diffusa,corydalis,neem,cassia twig,astragalus,ligustrum lucidum,dodder.The commonly used traditional Chinese medicines are mostly heat-clearing drugs,tonifying drugs,qi regulating drugs and surface relieving drugs.The properties of the drugs are mostly warm,slightly cold,cold and flat.The tastes of the drugs are mostly bitter,spicy and sweet.The meridians are mostly spleen,liver and lung meridians.Commonly used drug pairs are bupleurum and codonopsis pilosula,tangerine peel and pinellia,bran fried atractylodes macrocephala and fructus aurantii,corydalis yanhusuo and neem.The analysis results of cluster formula and core prescription of each syndrome type:(1)Spleen deficiency and qi stagnation syndrome,three cluster formulas were summarized,and the core prescriptions were Bupleurum chinense,Rhizoma Paridis,Rhizoma Atractylodis,Fructus Aurantii,Codonopsis pilosula,tangerine peel,Pinellia ternata,bergamot,acacia bark,Magnolia officinalis,hedyotis diffusa,fried white lentils,fried malt,fried radish seeds,and raw licorice.(2)The syndrome of damp-heat accumulation has been summarized into five clustering formulas.The core prescriptions are Paris polyphylla,bupleurum chinense,tangerine peel,pinellia ternate,raw licorice,codonopsis pilosula,bran fried coix seed,fried white lentils,bergamot,albizia bark,fried radish seed,hedyotis diffusa,catechu,and Lysimachia.(3)The syndrome of blood stasis and toxin internal obstruction has been summarized into five clustering formulas.The core prescriptions are Rhizoma Paridis,Radix Bupleuri,Cortex Citri,Rhizoma Pinelliae,Codonopsis pilosula,catechu,Cortex Albizziae,Bergamot,Rhizoma Atractylodis,Rhizoma Coix,Rhizoma Corydalis yanhusuo,Melia azedarach,black medicine,hedyotis diffusa,and raw licorice.(4)The syndrome of deficiency of spleen and kidney yang has been summarized into four clusters,with the core prescriptions of Paris polyphylla,Codonopsis pilosula,raw licorice,cinnamon twig,orange peel,pinellia ternata,fried malt,fried radish seed,psoralen,astragalus,agrimony,caulis spatholobi,hedyotis diffusa,bergamot,and acacia.(5)There are three clustering formulas for the deficiency of both qi and blood.The core prescriptions are Bupleurum chinense,Codonopsis pilosula,Herba Agrimoniae,Rhizoma atractylodis with bran,Caulis spatholobi,Ligustrum lucidum,Cuscuta chinensis,Zizhu,tangerine peel,Pinellia ternata,raw licorice,Paris polyphylla,hedyotis diffusa,cortex acacia,and fructus aurantii.(6)The number of cases of liver and kidney yin deficiency syndrome is small,and in-depth analysis is of little significance.Conclusion: The TCM syndrome types of colorectal cancer basically conform to the classification of the "Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Cancer",but the distribution of the number of syndrome types is significantly different.The instructor believes that colorectal cancer is based on the deficiency of the spleen and stomach,and the stagnation of qi is the core pathogenesis of the disease.Pathogenic factors such as phlegm and dampness,blood stasis or pathological products contain cancer toxin,which also blocks the qi mechanism,and the cancer toxin stagnates and stays in the intestines,causing this disease.In the treatment,it is emphasized that the basic treatment is to strengthen the spleen and replenish qi,regulate the qi mechanism,clear heat and detoxify,and eliminate dampness and phlegm,which runs through the treatment,and combines syndrome differentiation and syndrome differentiation.In the aspect of syndrome differentiation and treatment,spleen deficiency and qi stagnation syndrome focuses on supplementing qi,strengthening spleen and regulating qi.The damp-heat accumulation syndrome focuses on strengthening the spleen and removing dampness,clearing heat and detoxifying.The syndrome of blood stasis and toxin internal obstruction focuses on promoting qi and blood circulation,clearing heat and detoxifying.Spleen and kidney yang deficiency syndrome focuses on warming the middle to replenish qi and warming the kidney yang.Qi and blood deficiency syndrome focuses on supplementing qi and strengthening spleen,replenishing blood and promoting blood circulation.Liver and kidney yin deficiency syndrome focuses on nourishing the liver and kidney and replenishing yin and essence.
