Application Of Positive Psychological Intervention Based On PERMA Model In Patients With Total Hysterectomy

Abstract/Summary:
Objective:A positive psychological intervention program based on PERMA model was developed to explore the effects of positive psychological intervention on anxiety,depression,subjective well-being,quality of life and sleep quality of patients with total hysterectomy,so as to seek scientific solutions to promote the mental health of patients with total hysterectomy and provide reference for clinical psychological nursing.Methods:A total of 122 patients who underwent total hysterectomy in the department of gynecology of a Grade A hospital in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region from March to August 2021 were selected as the research objects.The 122 patients were divided into experimental group and control group by random number table method,with 61 patients in each group.The control group was given routine care.In the experimental group,positive psychological intervention based on PERMA pattern was added to the control group for 6 consecutive weeks.Anxiety,depression,subjective well-being,quality of life and sleep quality were assessed by general data questionnaire,Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS),Total well-being Scale(GWB)and quality of life scale(SF-36)before and after intervention.All data were statistically analyzed by SPSS 22.0,Statistical method including descriptive statistics,t test,~2 test and rank sum test.Results:A total of 122 cases were included in this study,including 116 effective cases(58 in the experimental group and 58 in the control group)due to loss of follow-up,death,voluntary withdrawal and other reasons.1.Influence on anxiety and depression:after intervention,34.49%of patients in the experimental group had anxiety and 41.37%had depression;70.69%of patients in the control group had anxiety and 82.76%had depression,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).The scores of anxiety(45.63±7.67)and depression(50.91±7.90)in the experimental group were lower significantly than those in the control group(52.35±7.29)and depression(58.94±6.73),and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.001).2.Influence on subjective well-being:after intervention,the total score of subjective well-being of patients in the experimental group is(75.71±10.57),the control group is(64.71±11.24),and the scores of all dimensions are also higher than the control group significantly,the difference is statistically significant(P<0.01).3.Impact on quality of life:After intervention,the total score of quality of life in the experimental group was 112.1(107.4,116.5),and the total score of quality of life in the control group was 104.6(95.1,110.65),and the difference was statistically significante(P<0.05).4.Influence on sleep quality:After the intervention,the sleep quality of the experimental group was significantly better than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).Conclusion:Positive psychological intervention based on PERMA model can effectively improve anxiety,depression and other negative emotions of total hysterectomy patients.To improve patients’understanding of their disease and treatment,to be more positive about surgery,Moreover,the subjective well-being and quality of life of patients were improved,the sleep time of patients was significantly prolonged,the sleep quality was improved,and the patients were helped to face life with more optimism and self-confidence.
