Happiness is the highest goal of human life.Well-being consists of the Subjective Well-Being(SWB)and Psychological Well-Being(PWB).Individual differences in well-being are influenced by genetic predispositions and family-social environments. However, little evidence revealed the interactions of gene-by-environment in well-being.This study investigated the interactions between metabolic genes of serotonergic pathway and family-social environments in well-being and clarified the gene-environment interactive models in well-being,which provides potential theoretical supports for cultivating of well-being.1 The effects of genes in serotonergic pathway and family-social environments on the SWB(1)Nine hundred and ninety-six college students were invited for exploring the effects of genes in serotonergic pathway on the SWB.The results showed that the HTR2 A rs6313 significantly affected on the Positive and Negative Experience(β = 0.06,95% CI = 0.004 ~ 0.219),and individuals with the TC genotype reported higher score than individuals with the TT genotype;the HTR2 A rs6313 significantly affected on the Satisfaction with Life(β = 0.08,95% CI = 0.040 ~ 0.272),and individuals with the CC genotype reported higher score than individuals with the TT genotype.Additionally, the cumulative effect of these genes significantly affected on the SWB(Positive and Negative Experience(SPANE): β = 0.10,95% CI = 0.613 ~ 2.834;Satisfaction with Life(SWLS): β = 0.12,95% CI = 0.927 ~ 2.847).(2)Eight hundred and sixteen college students were invited to investigate the interactions between genes in serotonergic pathway and parental bonding and economic level in the SWB.The results showed that the 5-HTTVNTR of the serotonin transporter gene(5-HTT)interacted with monthly consumption level in the SPANE(β =-0.25,95% CI =-0.431 ~-0.070),individuals with the S allele carriers showed lower score than those with the LL genotype in case of lower monthly consumption level, individuals with the S allele carriers showed higher score than those with the LL genotype in case of higher monthly consumption level.HTR2A rs6311 interacted with monthly consumption level in the SWLS(β = 0.19,95% CI = 0.056 ~ 0.328),individuals with the G allele carriers showed higher score than those with the AA genotype in case of higher monthly consumption level.2 The effects of genes in serotonergic pathway and family-social environments on the PWB(1)Nine hundred and ninety-six college students participated the investigation on the effects of genes in serotonergic pathway on the PWB.The results showed that the main effects of these genes had no significant effect on the PWB,while the cumulative effect of these genes significantly affected the PWB(β = 0.09,95% CI = 0.500 ~ 2.490).(2)Eight hundred and sixteen college students were invited for exploring the interactions between genes in serotonergic pathway and parental bonding and social relationship in the PWB.The results showed the interacted of genes in serotonergic pathway and family social environment had no significantly affected in the PWB.Conclusion:(1)The main effect of the HTR2 A affect the SWB,and the cumulative effects of the genes in serotonergic pathway affect the SWB;The 5-HTTVNTR interacts with monthly consumption level in the Positive and Negative Experience. The HTR2 A interacts with monthly consumption level in the Satisfaction with Life.(2)The cumulative effects of the genes in serotonergic pathway affect the PWB.
