Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Allergic Rhinitis With The Type Of Lung Qi Deficiency And Cold By Thumb-tack Needles Combined With Tongqiaobiyan Capsule

Objective:To verify the clinical efficacy and safety of thumb-tack needles combined with Tongqiaobiyan capsule in treating allergic rhinitis with the type of lung qi deficiency and cold.Methods:Sixty cases of allergic rhinitis with the type of lung qi deficiency and cold were selected from January 2021 to October 2021 diagnosed of the Department of Otolaryngology,the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Sixty enrolled patients were randomly divided into observation group(n = 30)and control group(n = 30).Among them,due to objective reasons such as patient referral,there were 2cases of detachment in the control group and 1 case in the observation group,so a total of 28 cases in the control group and 29 cases in the observation group were completed.The control group was treated with Tongqiaobiyan capsule,which was taken orally 4 capsules/time,3 times/day for 15 consecutive days,namely 1 course of treatment.The observation group was treated with thumb-tack needles on the basis of the control group(the selected points were Yingxiang,Bitong and Yintang).The single retention time of the thumb-tack needle was 24 h.When the needles were retained,press them once every 4h for about 1 minute each time,4 times a day until the acupoint feels sore,numb or swelling.Be treated every other day,a total of 8times of treatment in this study.Results:1.After 15 days of clinical treatment,the total effective rate of the observation group was 93.10%,and that of the control group was71.43%.After the rank sum test,P < 0.05,the difference in therapeutic effect between the two groups was significant,indicating that the clinical effect of the observation group(treated with thumb-tack needles and Tongqiaobiyan capsule)was better than that of the control group(treated with Tongqiaobiyan capsule).2.After treatment,the scores of symptoms and signs,TCM syndrome score and RQLQ score in observation group were all decreased compared with those before treatment,the differences were also significant.The results of VAS scale showed that the patients had low pain degree and high satisfaction degree after the thumb-tack needle treatment.Conclusions:It was found that thumb-tack needles combined with Tongqiaobiyan capsule could significantly improve the clinical symptoms of allergic rhinitis patients,and its clinical effect is superior to that of using Tongqiaobiyan capsule alone.Besides,the application of the thumb-tack needle is convenient and secure,the pain degree is low and the patient satisfaction is high,which has important clinical application significance and promotion value.
