Objective:The clinical characteristics, etiology and prognostic risk factors of Bacterial Liver Abscess(BLA)in adults were analyzed. Methods:The data of inpatients diagnosed with adult bacterial liver abscess in our hospital from January 2017 to September 2021 were retrospectively collected.According to the etiological results, they were divided into Klebsiella pneumoniae group(KP-BLA group)and non Klebsiella pneumoniae group(non-KP-BLA group)for comparison. At the same time, the general data, clinical characteristics, laboratory examination, imaging and etiological results of the patients were analyzed,so as to analyze the clinical and etiological characteristics of BLA and analyze the factors affecting the prognosis. Results:Compared with the non-KP-BLA group,In the KP-BLA group, there were statistically significant differences in the level of liver area of batting pain, white blood cells, neutrophils, procalcitonin, alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase, total bilirubin, prothrombin activity, fasting blood glucose, diabetes, biliary stones, bacteria, pleural effusion, abscess cellular shape and treatment(P<0.05).Compared with the good prognosis group, there were statistically significant differences in age ≥60 years, percussion pain in liver region, abdominal rebounding pain, white blood cell, neutrophil, procalcitonin, prothrombin time, diabetes, number of abscesses, gas shadow in abscess cavity and admission to icu in the poor prognosis group(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.BLA is more common in elderly men, mainly in the right lobe, single abscess, combined with pleural effusion and lung infection.2.KP-BLA often presents with bacteremia and abscess honeycomb formation, and diabetes is an independent risk factor for the pathogenesis of KP-BLA.3.Age ≥60 years, percussive pain in liver area, abdominal rebound pain, white blood cell, neutrophil, procalcitonin, prothrombin time, diabetes, multiple abscesses, gas shadow in abscess cavity and prognosis of BLA in icu were correlated.Among them,age≥60 years, large number of abscesses, gas shadow in abscess cavity, diabetes mellitus and admission to intensive care unit were independent risk factors for the prognosis of BLA...
