| Objective: with the increase of age,the decline of the function of tissues and organs and endocrine disorders, the problem of sleep in middle-aged women is becoming more and more serious. In this paper,middle-aged women with sleep disorders were taken as experimental subjects, rumba and cha-cha in Latin dance were used as exercise intervention methods, and exercise physiological and biochemical indexes were used to monitor exercise load scientifically.the changes of sleep indexes and related hormone indexes before and after the experiment were tested to explore the effect and cause of Latin dance exercise on improving sleep disorder. To provide scientific basis and practical methods for improving sleep quality and promoting physical health of middle-aged women. Methods:This paper mainly adopts the methods of literature, questionnaire, expert interview, experimental research and mathematical statistics.Thirty women aged 47-55 with sleep disorders(no long-term exercise habits and no Latin dance basis)were randomly divided into experimental group and control group. The experimental group was given Latin dance intervention for 20 weeks(every Monday,Wednesday and Friday 18:30-20:00),while the control group was given brisk walking/ jogging exercise three times a week. The contents of serum melatonin, orexin and leptin-related sleep hormones in the two groups were measured in the early morning, and the subjects’ total time of falling asleep, difficulty in falling asleep, times of waking up at night and long waking time at night were tested with Lexin bracelet to explore the effects of Latin dance exercise on sleep quality and related physiological and biochemical indexes of middle-aged women with sleep disorders. The results are as follows: 1.There was no significant difference between the Latin dance exercise group(experimental group)and the control group in the score of PSQI(Pittsburgh sleep quality index)self-rating scale before the experiment. In the experiment, the average score of PSQI self-rating scale decreased, but there was no significant difference. The score of PSQI self-rating scale decreased significantly after the experiment.Compared with that before the experiment, there was a very significant difference in the experimental group after the experiment(P < 0.01),but there was no significant difference in the control group(P > 0.05).2.The average sleep time of 20 weeks in the Latin dance exercise group(in weeks, the total sleep time divide effective days of the week, the same below)and sleep efficiency showed a fluctuating trend, while the average sleep length and sleep efficiency of the control group fluctuated slightly. After 20 weeks, the average sleep time and sleep efficiency of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group. The average latent period of falling asleep, the number and time of waking up at night in the experimental group showed a fluctuating trend in 20 weeks, while that in the control group fluctuated slightly. After 20 weeks of dry expectation, the average latent period, times and time of waking up at night in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the control group.3.There was no significant difference in the concentrations of serum melatonin(MT),leptin(LEP)and orexin(OX)between the Latin dance exercise group and the control group before the experiment. After five months of dry expectation, there was a very significant difference in the concentration of serum MT and serum OX between the two groups, and there was a significant difference in the concentration of serum LEP between the two groups. There was no significant difference in the concentration of serum MT,LEP and OX in the control group before and after the experiment, but there was a very significant difference in the concentration of serum MT,LEP and OX in the Latin dance exercise group before and after the experiment.4.The concentration of MT was positively correlated with the average sleep duration and sleep efficiency, and negatively correlated with the average sleep latency, the average waking times and time at night, and the concentration of LEP was positively correlated with the average sleep duration and sleep efficiency, and negatively correlated with the average sleep latency. The concentration of OX was positively correlated with the average latent period of falling asleep, the average number of waking times and time at night(P < 0.01).Conclusions: 1.Regular medium-intensity Latin dance exercise can improve the overall sleep quality from many dimensions, such as sleep time, sleep efficiency, night sleep, daytime sleep disorder and so on.2.Medium-intensity Latin dance exercise can effectively prolong the night sleep time of middle-aged women, shorten the sleep latency, reduce the number of waking times at night, shorten the awake time,so as to effectively improve the overall sleep efficiency.Among them,Latin dance exercise has the best effect on the number of waking times and waking time at night.3.Medium-intensity Latin dance exercise can reduce sleep disorders by improving hormone secretion.Latin dance exercise can increase the levels of melatonin and leptin in the body, reduce the content of orexin in the body, and improve sleep quality from the molecular biological level. |
