Objectives:To investigate the prevalence of sarcopenia and analyze the risk factors of sarcopenia in middle-aged and elderly patients with metabolic associated fatty liver disease(MAFLD)combined with sleep disorders,in order to provide clinical evidence for the intervention of sarcopenia in middle-aged and elderly MAFLD patients combined with sleep disorders. Methods:A total of 100 patients with MAFLD complicated with sleep disorders who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were selected and their general information and laboratory data were collected. The SARC-Cal F scale score and grip strength were measured for all the selected subjects, and the evaluation results were recorded.Based on the assessment results, groups were divided into the sarcopenia group and the non-sarcopenia group. The collected data and results were statistically analyzed by SPSS 26.0 software, and the differences between the two groups in general data and laboratory data were compared to analyze the risk factors of sarcopenia.SPSS26.0 software was used for statistical analysis to compare the differences between the two groups in general and laboratory data, and to analyze the risk factors of sarcopenia in middle-aged and elderly MAFLD patients combined with sleep disorders.Results:1.Among 100 middle-aged and elderly MAFLD patients with sleep disorders, the prevalence rate of sarcopenia was 22%.2.Comparison of general information and laboratory data:there were differences in gender, age, occupation,BMI,grip strength and CRP between the sarcopenia group and the non-sarcopenia group(P<0.05).3.Multivariate logistic regression analysis:female(P=0.037,OR=8.503,95%CI:1.139-63.942),increased age(P=0.034,OR=5.673,95%CI:1.142-28.197)and increased CRP expression(P=0.048,OR=13.457,95%CI:1.023-176.980)were independent risk factors for sarcopenia in middle-aged and elderly MAFLD patients combined with sleep disorders(P<0.05);Higher BMI(P=0.002,OR=0.010,95%CI:0.001-0.179),grip strength increased(P=0.001,OR=0.611,95%CI:0.454-0.823)and manual workers(P=0.003,OR=0.006,95%CI:0.000-0.175)were independent protective factors for sarcopenia in middle-aged and elderly MAFLD patients combined with sleep disorders(P<0.05).Conclusions : 1.Sarcopenia is common in middle-aged and elderly hospitalized MAFLD patients combined with sleep disorders.2.Female,increased age and increased CRP expression were independent risk factors for sarcopenia in middle-aged and elderly MAFLD patients combined with sleep disorders, while increased grip strength,BMI and manual workers were independent protective factors for sarcopenia in middle-aged and elderly MAFLD patients combined with sleep disorders.
