Since twenty-first Century,the level of people's education and the needs of social material and culture have led us to pay more attention to developing our hobbies and exercising.Physical and mental health has gradually become a higher pursuit of people,and middle-aged and elderly people are also paying more attention to their own physical health.In recent years,Latin dance is deeply loved by the majority of the middle-aged and the elderly,and through the long-term use of Latin dance as a fitness method,the body composition,body function,physical quality and mental health of the middle and old people can be promoted or maintained to a relatively healthy state.In this paper,the middle-aged and old people who were not suitable for the experiment were selected by the method of experimental survey and questionnaire,which were not suitable for the experiment,such as age,physical and mental health,and no heart disease.34 Latin dance scholars with almost no fitness habits in the adult morning exercise class of Shengli Street Station Road in Wuhan city were used as the experimental group,and the other 19 had no fitness.The old and middle aged people were used as the control group.The experimental group took 3 months of Latin dance morning exercises to analyze the changes in the body composition,body function and physical quality of the elderly in the experimental group before and after the experiment,the experimental group and the control group.The effects of Latin dance on the physical health of the middle-aged and the elderly were studied.The questionnaire survey of self-made learning motivation was conducted.The table and SCL-90 mental health self-assessment scale were used to investigate the influence of Latin dance learning motivation on the mental health of the middle-aged and the elderly,and to provide reference for the middle-aged and the elderly to choose Latin dance fitness.After teaching experiments for 3 months,the following conclusions were reached:(1)Latin dance training can effectively increase the fat weight,skeletal muscle content,mineral quality and body fat of the middle and old aged people.The Latin dance has the maximum power to bum the fat of the waist and abdomen,the increase of the fat and soft weight to the trunk and lower limbs,and the decrease of the waist to hip ratio and the fat of the abdomen in the middle and old age people.It is helpful to solve the abdominal obesity in the middle and old people and exercise the stout lower limbs.(2)Latin dance training can effectively improve the flexibility,sensitivity and balance quality of the physical quality of the middle-aged and the elderly,and the long-term Latin dance training can promote the development of the balance ability of the middle-aged and the elderly in the state of static closed eyes.(3)proper amount of Latin dance training can improve the cardiovascular oxygen supply ability of the middle and old aged people,and improve the cardiorespiratory function.(4)in Latin dance training,the health level of the middle-aged and old people on the factors of "somatization","interpersonal sensitivity","depression","anxiety" and "hostility"are significantly higher than those of the ordinary people.Latin dance is a popular sports activity beneficial to mental health.(5)Latin dance training process,middle and old aged Latin dance learning motivation score is high,physical and mental health changes significantly.
