Clinical Study On Jingxin Decoction For Functional Premature Ventricular Beats Of Qi And Yin Deficiency Type

Objective: The objective of this study is to explore the efficacy and safety of Jingxin Decoction treating functional premature ventricular beats with deficiency of qi and yin and to provide evidence for the application of Jingxin Decoction in patients with functional premature ventricular beats with deficiency of qi and yin.Methods: Sixty subjects suffering from functional premature ventricular beats of qi-yin deficiency were included and randomly divided into experimental group and control group(30 cases in each group)using random number table.The experimental group was treated with Jingxin Decoction and the control group was treated with metoprolol tartrate tablets for 4 weeks.The number of premature ventricular beats,average heart rate,heart rate variability of 24 h dynamic electrocardiogram and syndrome scores of traditional Chinese medicine were observed before and after therapy in 2groups.SPSS 23 software was used for statistical analysis.Results: 1.The number of 24 h premature ventricular beats was significantly reduced in both experimental group and control group,and after treatment,significant statistical difference was failed to be observed between two groups(P>0.05).2.The effective rate of premature ventricular beats was 76.7% in experimental group and 73.3% in control group,with no statistical significance(P>0.05).3.The average heart rate of both groups were significantly decreased,and the average heart rate of control group was significantly lower than that of experimental group after treatment(P<0.05).4.SDNN,SDANN and r MSSD of the two groups were significantly increased,and the Jingxin Decoction group was significantly better than the metoprolol tartrate group after treatment(P < 0.05).5.The syndrome scores of traditional Chinese medicine were significantly decreased in both groups,and the syndrome scores of traditional Chinese medicine of Jingxin Decoction group was significantly lower than the metoprolol tartrate group after therapy(P<0.05).6.The effective rate of syndrome of traditional Chinese medicine in Jingxin Decoction group was 90% and that in metoprolol tartrate group was 66.7%,and the Jingxin Decoction group was significantly better than the metoprolol tartrate group(P<0.05).7.Abnormal basic vital signs and adverse reactions didn’t appear in both Jingxin Decoction group and metoprolol tartrate group during the study.Conclusion: Jingxin Decoction can effectively reduce 24 h premature ventricular beats in subjects with functional premature ventricular beats of qi and yin deficiency type.In addition,Jingxin Decoction can reduce average heart rate more smoothly,improve heart rate variability and TCM syndromes more significantly than metoprolol tartrate.Meanwhile,Jingxin Decoction has good safety.
