Purpose:The purpose is to provide effective treatment strategies to reduce the patients’ clinical symptoms and to improve the quality of patients’ lives by using experimental data with Wenxin Ningshen Decoction to treat the functional ventricular premature beats(Qi and Yin deficiency).The data are coming from preliminary exploring and evaluating its possible mechanism of action and compatibility after observing its clinical efficacy.Method:In this study,experimental data were collected from patients in the Cardiovascular Department of First Affiliated Hospital at Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine during January through December 2018.The self-control method was used to analyze the situation before and after treatment.The 40 patients enrolled all met the diagnostic criteria of functional ventricular premature beats(Qi and Yin deficiency).All patients were received Wenxin Ningshen Decoction warm taken twice daily by mouth,each time 150 ml for a total of 3 weeks.The relevant information,such as the number of premature ventricular beats in 24 hours Holter and average heart rate,were collected from the 24 hours Holter before and after treatment.Heart rate variability in time domain and frequency domain was recorded,such as parameters SDNN,SDANN,SDNNI,rMSSD,PNN50,LF,HF and LF/HF.Some scores were calculated including the TCM syndrome scores,insomnia scores and quality of life scores of patients before and after treatment,after filling out the TCM Syndrome Quantification Assessment Form,the Asens Insomnia Scale(AIS)and the Quality of Life Assessment Scale(SF-36).Safety indicators were monitored.The SPSS22.0 statistical software was used to analyze and process related data.Result:1.After 3 weeks of treatment,the total effective rate of TCM syndrome was 92.50%.The scores of TCM symptoms were lower after treatment,P<0.01,giving statistical significance to the study.2.After 3 weeks of treatment,the patient’s 24-hour ventricular premature beats decreased.P < 0.01 shows statistical significance.The total effective rate by which 24-hour ventricular premature beat reduced was85.00%.The patient showed no significant change in 24-hour average heart rate.P > 0.05 means no statistical significance.3.After 3 weeks of treatment,the patient’s heart rate variability index improved significantly,and the curative effect was significant.Among them,P<0.05 in SDNNI shows statistically significant.The other indicators also had P<0.01,showing distinct statistical significance.4.After 3 weeks of treatment,the patient’s insomnia score significantly reduced.P <0.01 shows statistical significance.5.After 3 weeks of treatment,the patients’ quality of life scores improved in varying degrees in terms of physiological features,physiological functions,physical pain,overall health,social function,and mental health.P<0.05 shows statistically significant.In terms of vitality and emotional functions,P<0.01 shows distinct statistical significance.Conclusion:1.Wenxin Ningshen Decoction can significantly reduce the number of premature beats in patients with functional ventricular premature beats(Qi and Yin deficiency).2.Wenxin Ningshen Decoction has little effect on the 24-hour average heart rate of patients with functional ventricular premature beats(Qi and Yin deficiency).3.Wenxin Ningshen Decoction can effectively improve the heart rate variability parameters of patients with functional ventricular premature beats(Qi and Yin deficiency)and improve the overall function of patients’ autonomic nerves.4.Wenxin Ningshen Decoction has a good result to treating TCM symptoms from the patients with functional ventricular premature beats(Qiand Yin deficiency).The decoction also can relieve insomnia symptom to improve the quality of life. |
