Single-blinded , randomized controlled methodology was applied to assigning participants into two groups. The study group receives the balance accupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine therapy while the control group receives only traditional Chinese medicine therapy. The TCM symptoms , severity of vertigo , estimations of the functions and the quality of life were monitored at the 3th , the 7th and the 14th day of the treatment. Make contrasts of the efficacy of two groups and analyze the data mentioned above to check which therapy is more preferable.Results:1,The latter scores of the Symptoms and Functions Scale are better than the former ones (P<0.05).2,The symptoms and functions Scale shows notable divergences between two therapies at the 3th and the 7th day of the treatment (P<0. 05) , which show no divergences at the 14th day of the treatment (P>0.05) .3,The TCM symptoms Scale shows notable divergences between two therapies atthe 3th day of the treatment (P<0.05).Conclusion:1,Both therapies show notable efficacy in treating cervical vertigo.2,The combined therapy performs better improvements on of vertigo syndromes ,functional activities and the quality of life than the sole one at short term(within 7 days) .
