Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of the the self-made prescription Lipi Yuyang decoction combined with mesalaqin slow-release granules in the treatment of the spleen deficiency with stasis syndrom of ulcerative colitis.Methods: Sixty cases were selected to visit the Department of Spleen and Stomach Diseases of Yantai Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from October 2019 to October 2021,and all patients with the spleen deficiency with stasis syndrom of ulcerative colitis met the criteria.The 60 patients were randomized into two groups:30 patients in the treatment group and 30 patients in the control group.The control group was treated with mesalaqin slow-release granules 1.0g,three times a day,the treatment group was given above-mentioned treatment and given Lipi Yuyang decoction,200 m L each time,twice a day,taken with warm water after breakfast and dinner.Both groups had a 30-day session and there were 2 courses for a treatment cycle.Collect two groups of relevant data and to draw conclusions by statistical analysis.Results:1.Disease activity degree(Mayo score),after treatment,both the treatment group and the control group scores definitely decreased(P <0.01),and the treatment group improved better than the control group(P <0.05).2.Endoscopic mucosal manifestations(Baron grading scores),in this clinical observation,both groups of cases improved obviously the mucosal performance of UC patients after treatment(P <0.01);the treatment group was better than the control group(P <0.05).3.Clinical efficacy,the total efficiency of the patients in the treatment group was 92.86% and 85.71% in the control group,indicating that the clinical efficacy of the treatment group was better than that in the control group.4.Traditional Chinese medicine syndrome points,after treatment,the main traditional Chinese medical symptom scores and the secondary traditional Chinese medical symptom scores in the treatment group and the control group all improved to different degrees(P <0.05),and the effect in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P <0.05).5.Quality of life score(IBDQ Scale score),the quality of life scores between the two groups before and after treatment were significant different in statistics(P <0.01),the quality of life improved after treatment,and the effect in the treatment group was superior to the control group(P <0.05).6.Safety,no significant adverse effects were observed in two groups.Conclusion:1.Both Lipi Yuyang decoction combined with mesalaqin slow-release granules and mesalazine slow-release granules alone were effective in treating the spleen deficiency with stasis syndrom of ulcerative colitis.2.Lipi Yuyang decoction combined with mesalaqin slow-release granules was better than mesalazine sustained-release granules alone for treating the spleen deficiency with stasis syndrom of ulcerative colitis in the following aspects:clinical efficacy、the main tradtional Chinese medical symptom scores、the secondary traditional Chinese medical symptom scores、Mayo grade、Baron grading scores、Quality of life scores.3.Lipi Yuyang decoction combined with mesalaqin slow-release granules is safe in the treatment of the spleen deficiency with stasis syndrom of ulcerative colitis.
