Clinical Observation Of AnGang Emulsion Retention Enema In Treating Chronic Proctitis(Damp-heat Intrinsic Type)

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of AnGang emulsion retention enema on chronic proctitis(damp-heat internalized type),to explore a safe and effective treatment method for the treatment of damp-heat internalized chronic proctitis for further clinical guidance.Methods:All cases in the study were derived from 66 outpatients with chronic proctitis(damp-heat internalized type)who were seen at the Department of Anorectal Medicine of the Affiliated Hospital of the Shandong University of Chinese Medicine between January 1,2021,and January 31,2022,and met the inclusion criteria,and were randomly divided into 33 cases each in the treatment and control groups.After case shedding and elimination,61 patients were finally included in the outcome analysis,including 30 cases in the treatment group and 31 cases in the control group.The treatment group was treated with basal therapy + retention enema with AnGang emulsion,while the control group was treated with basal therapy + retention enema with compound Fufang Huangbai Ye.The enema was kept every night at bedtime,7d was a course of treatment,4 consecutive courses of treatment.The overall efficacy,daily number of defecation,anal distention,mucus stools,anal burning,short red urination,and proctoscopic changes were observed before and after treatment.Results:Statistical analysis: 1.There was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of gender,age,duration of illness,and each symptom and proctoscopic scores before treatment(P>0.05),which was comparable;2.The number of daily defecation,anal distention,mucus stools,anal burning,short red urination,and proctoscopic scores decreased in both groups before and after treatment(P<0.05),which was statistically significant;the level of decrease in each symptom score was better in the treatment group than in the control group(P<0.05),which was statistically significant;3.There was a significant difference in the overall efficacy between the two groups(P<0.05),with a total effective rate of 96.67% in the treatment group and 80.65% in the control group,which was statistically significant;4.No significant discomfort or adverse effects were observed in any of the patients during the treatment period.Conclusion: The clinical efficacy of AnGang emulsion retention enema on chronic proctitis(damp-heat internalized type)is remarkable,which can effectively improve the clinical symptoms and the mucosal condition under the colonoscopy and improve the quality of life of patients,and is worth promoting.
