Objective:To explore the antihypertensive effect and clinical symptom improvement of "acupuncture antihypertensive prescription" in the treatment of primary hypertension of yin deficiency and yang hyperactivity type,and to summarize the tutor’s academic thought and clinical experience in the treatment of primary hypertension of yin deficiency and yang hyperactivity type.Methods: The subjects of this study were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group,with 38 cases in each group.The blood pressure value,the quantitative score of TCM syndrome classification and the Du’s hypertension quality of life scale were recorded and observed before and after treatment.The curative effects of the two groups were compared after statistical treatment.Results: The total effective rates of antihypertensive effect test group and control group were 94.44% and 88.89% respectively,and the total effective rates of TCM syndrome effect test group and control group were 94.44% and86.11% respectively.In the two groups,the blood pressure decreased significantly before and after treatment,the score of TCM syndrome decreased significantly,and the score of Du’s hypertension quality of life scale increased significantly(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in blood pressure between the two groups at each time point(P > 0.05);After treatment,compared with the control group,the score of TCM syndromes in the experimental group decreased significantly,and the score of Du’s hypertension quality of life scale increased significantly(P < 0.05).Conclusion: Acupuncture has a significant effect on reducing blood pressure,TCM syndromes and quality of life of primary hypertension of yin deficiency and yang hyperactivity type.The experimental group was better than the control group in improving TCM syndromes and quality of life.
