Application Value Of Pronase Combined With Dimethicone Powder In The Diagnosis Of Early Gastric Cancer

Objective: To explore the application value of pronase combined with dimethicone powder as an adjuvant drug before gastroscopy in the diagnosis of early gastric cancer.Methods: A total of 2063 patients who completed painless gastroscopy in the Digestive Endoscope Center of The Second Nanning People’s Hospital from October 2018 to January 2021 were selected.Patients were divided into observation group and control group according to the type of medication.There were 1034 cases in the observation group,including 537 males and 497 females.The age ranged from 18 to 70 years old,with an average age of(45.40±14.10)years,while in the control group 1029,there were 532 males and 497 females.The age ranged from 18 to 70 years old,with an average age of(46.44±13.91)years.The observation group was given dimethicone powder 2.5g+pronase 20000 units+sodium bicarbonate 1g+warm water 60 ml 10-20 minutes before examination,and the control group took dimethicone powder 2.5g+sodium bicarbonate 1g+warm water 60 ml 10-20 minutes before examination.Statistical methods were used to compare the differences in the total score of visual field clarity,the detection rate of small lesions,the detection rate of early gastric cancer,the operation time and the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups.Results:(1)The average score of visual field sharpness under endoscope was(6.55±2.45)in the observation group and(9.76±2.97)in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(2)The average operation time of the observation group was(598.09±224.03),the average operation time of the control group was(662.52±299.21)seconds,the average operation time of the observation group was significantly different from that of the control group(P<0.05).(3)The detection rates of erosion,polyps,depressions,ulcers and bleeding lesions in the observation group were 27.3%,21.4%,2.0%,2.1% and0.7%,respectively,while those in the control group were 30.5%,20.8%,0.9%,2.0% and 1.4%,respectively.There was no obvious difference in the detection rate of other small lesions between the two groups(P>0.05);(4)The rate of early gastric cancer detected by endoscopy and pathology in the observation group was0.6%,while that in the control group was 0.0%.There was obvious difference between the two groups(P<0.05).(5)There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion: Combined use of pronase and dimethicone powder before gastroscopy can effectively remove mucus and foam on the surface of gastric mucosa,and improve the detection rate of depressed lesions and early gastric cancer.
