Objective China has not formulate the professional education standards for sub-discipline of clinical medicine.The "National Standards for the Quality of Undergraduate Professional Teaching in General Colleges" stipulates that other majors of clinical medicine should refer the national standards for clinical medicine teaching quality.Therefore,it takes the "Chinese Undergraduate Medical Education Standards-Clinical Medicine Specialty(Trial)"(hereinafter referred to as "Standards")as a reference.In order to optimize the training program for undergraduate anesthesiology professionals,this study compares the training programs for undergraduate anesthesiology professionals in 5 local medical colleges in the western China,and contrastes it with the "Standard".By combing the cognition situation and implementation effect investigation of the professional talent training program,this study represents the present situation of the training program for the bachelor of anesthesiology,analyses the existing problems,also put forward suggestions.Methods Literature research method:review the literature to sort out the present situation of the training program for undergraduate anesthesiology professionals.Comparative research method:compare the training programs for undergraduate anesthesiology professionals in 5 local medical colleges in the western China and compare it with the "standard".Questionnaire survey method:conducte a questionnaire survey on the cognition situation and implementation effect of the training program for undergraduate professionals in anesthesiology.Interview method:interviews teaching administrators,clinical teaching teachers,and employers.Mathematical statistics:performes descriptive analysis,card analysis of data Square test,T test,single factor analysis.Results1.Comparison of training programs for undergraduate professionals in anesthesiology(1)Comparison of training programs for undergraduate professionals in anesthesiology in 5 colleges The training objectives of the undergraduate majors of anesthesiology in the 5colleges require students to have the basic theories,knowledge and abilities of clinical medicine and basic medicine,and can use in clinical practice.Four colleges divide the training requirements into quality requirements,knowledge requirement and skill requirement,and one college divide into science and academic field,clinical competence field,health and social field,and professional literacy field;also cultivate students’ moral quality and clinical medicine knowledge,clinical and scientific research capabilities,some colleges also cultivate students’ physical and mental quality,foreign language knowledge and anesthesiology skill.The number of courses,class hours,and credits of the public courses,professional basic courses and professional courses of the 5 colleges are21.15%~37.04%,28.36%~32.48%,27.06%~30.77%,40.68%~51.85%,30.49% ~58.44 %,31.19%~59.02%,11.11%~29.27%,9.09%~41.15%,9.33%~41.75%;there is no significant difference in the number of courses(P>0.05),however there is a significant difference between class hours and credits(P<0.05).The credits of compulsory courses and elective courses accounted for76.38%~93.85% and 6.15%~23.62% respectively;there is a significant difference between the two(P<0.05).The proportions of hours and credits for specialized courses are 6.65%~14.35% and 6.90%~15.50% respectively;there is a significant difference in class hours(P<0.05),and no significant difference in credits(P>0.05).The practical teaching links all include clinical internship;one college has 49 weeks for clinical internship,four colleges for 48 weeks;5colleges for internal medicine internship time for 6 to 13 weeks,surgery for 6 to12 weeks,obstetrics and gynecology and pediatrics for 3~6 weeks.The practice time in clinical medicine departments is 20-28 weeks,and the practice time in anesthesiology related departments is 21-28 weeks;there is o significant difference between the two(P>0.05).The training requirements are supported by courses,and no independent course support for communication skills.(2)Comparison of training programs for undergraduate professionals in anesthesiology in 5 colleges and the Standard The training requirements,curriculum settings,and clinical practice of the undergraduate majors of anesthesiology in the 5 colleges do not refer the "Standards".The proportions of items with the same and different training requirements and the "standard" is 41.18%~76.74%,23.53%~58.82%,and there is a significant difference between the two(P<0.05).The number of courses with the same or different course name and the "standard" account for37.50%~50.00%,50.00%~62.50%,and there is no significant difference between the two(P>0.05).2.Cognition situation of the training program for undergraduate professionals in anesthesiology(1)The cognition situation of student on the training plan for undergraduate professionals in anesthesiology Students more recognized the effect of the implementation of the training program for undergraduate anesthesiology professionals.The average evaluation of overall cognition is 3.78 points,the evaluation score of training target dimensions is 3.92 points,the dimensions of curriculum design and practical teaching links are 3.76 points;there is no significant difference in the overall cognition of students of different genders,household registrations and grades(P>0.05).(2)The cognition situation of clinical teaching teachers on the training plan for undergraduate professionals in anesthesiology Clinical instructors have a high level of cognition of the training program for undergraduate professionals in anesthesiology.The average overall cognitive evaluation is 3.91 points,the training objective dimension evaluation score is4.35 points,the curriculum setting dimension is 3.87 points,and the practical teaching link dimension is 3.77 Points;there is no significant difference in the overall cognition of clinical teaching teachers of different gender,age,teaching age,educational background and professional title(P>0.05).3.Implementation effect of training program for undergraduate professionals in anesthesiology(1)Evaluation of the implementation effect of the training program for undergraduate professionals in anesthesiology by students Students highly recognize the implementation effect of the training program for undergraduate professionals in anesthesiology.Students think that their literacy,knowledge and abilities have been greatly improved,and the education of public basic knowledge and the cultivation of home country feelings need to be strengthened.They have participated in internship practices,and satisfaction with the overall teaching conditions of the internship hospital is 93%,the clinical internship is 79%,and expect to increase the experimental design and mobile phone meeting by more than 50%,and enter the hospital to work as an anesthesiologist after graduation.(2)Evaluation of the implementation effect of the training program for undergraduate professionals in anesthesiology by teaching administrators,clinical teachers,and employers Teaching administrators and clinical teaching teachers think that the implementation of the talent training program in anesthesiology has a good effect,and recommend the curriculum system and clinical practice arrangements should refer to the "standard";employers value students’ anesthesia skills.Conclusions The training objective of the undergraduate majors of anesthesiology are mainly to train applied anesthesiology talents,but the target positioning is different;the training requirements are clearly distinguished from the "standard",and the operability needs to be strengthened;the training requirements are clearly distinguished from the standards,low conformity with "Standard";the proportion of credit hours is not uniform,the proportion of elective courses is low,and the proportion of professional basic courses is high;the curriculum system is relatively complete,but the courses that independently support communication skills are lacked;the effect of curriculum implementation is good,and the basic knowledge is public education is relatively weak;practical teaching participation is high,but the practical system needs to be improved;clinical internship satisfaction is high,but the internship arrangements and the "standard" have not reached a consensus.Suggestions are put forward on improve the orientation of training goals;establish unified training requirements;strengthen curriculum integration,clarify curriculum positioning,and rationally arrange course module hours and credits;increase the proportion of elective courses,optimize professional specialty courses and doctor-patient communication courses;strengthen family and country feelings education;standardize clinical practice arrangements;formulate professional education standards for undergraduate anesthesiology...
