Effects Of Compound Prunella On TPOAb And TgAb In Patients With Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis

Objective By observing the effects of compound prunella on thyroid peroxidase antibody（TPOAb）and thyroglobulin antibody（TgAb）in patients with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis,to explore its clinical efficacy,so as to provide a theoretical basis for the clinical application of prevention and treatment of Hashimoto’s thyroiditis.Methods 60 cases of Hashimoto’s thyroiditis who were newly diagnosed with hypothyroidism or subclinical hypothyroidism were randomly divided into joint Chinese Medicine group and control group according to random number table method,and 30 patients in each group.These patients need to be adjusted to normal thyroid function before entering the group.The control group was routinely treated with oral Selenious Yeast Tablets 100μg tiwce a day,low iodine diet and supplemented euthyrox to treat.The joint Chinese Medicine group was administrated the compound Prunella（Prunella,Astragalus,Codonopsis,Arctium）together with the routinely treatment.And the healing period of the both group was 3 months.Then using SPSS21.0 statistical software to analyze the changes of TPOAb,TgAb,FT₃,FT₄ and TSH before and after treatment.Result The results of clinical studies showed that the level of TPOAb in the joint Chinese Medicine group decreased after treatment（P<0.01）,the level of TPOAb in the control group also decreased after treatment（P<0.05）.Furthermore,the level of TPOAb in the joint Chinese Medicine group was lower than that of the control group（P<0.05）after treatment.However,the level of TgAb in both group was not significantly reduced after the treatment（P>0.05）.There was no significant difference in the level of TgAb between the joint Chinese Medicine group and the control group after treatment（P>0.05）.The effective rate of reduction of the level of TPOAb in the joint Chinese Medicine group was 80%,while the effective rate of reduction of the level of TPOAb in the control group was 33.33%.There was a significant difference in the rate of decline in TPOAb titer in both groups（P<0.01）.The effective rate of reduction of the level of TgAb in the joint Chinese Medicine group was53.33%,while the effective rate of reduction of the level of TgAb in the control group was33.33%.There was no significant difference in the rate of decline of TgAb titer in both groups（P>0.05）.No significant improvement of thyroid function was observed between two groups throughout the treatment（P>0.05）,without significantly statistic difference between the two groups（P>0.05）.Conclusion Compound Prunella has a certain effect on reducing the level of TPOAb in patients with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis.It has no significant effect on reducing the level of TgAb,and has no significant effect on FT3,FT4,and TSH in patients with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis.
