Clinical Study On PeiTuXiaoYingFang In The Treatment Of Hypothyroidism Of Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis Based On The Theory Of JinGui’s "Tonifying Spleen"

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Pei Tu Xiao Ying Fang combined with levothyroxine sodium on Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis,summarize experience and analyze the theory of the Jin Gui’s "tonifying spleen",and explore new ideas and methods for improving thyroid antibodies TPOAb and TGAb by Chinese medicine.Methods: 64 Hashimoto’s thyroiditis patients who met the clinical diagnosis were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with32 cases each.In the treatment group,on the basis of taking levothyroxine sodium as the control group,Pei Tu Xiao Ying Fang was added.Four weeks is a course of treatment.After three courses of treatment,observe the changes in thyroid function(FT3,FT4,TSH),thyroid antibodies(TPOAb,TGAb)and clinical symptoms of TCM,and perform statistical analysis.Results: We finally selected 61 patients to be included in this study,including 30 in the treatment group and 31 in the control group.Clinical observations show that after treatment,the scores of TCM syndromes in the treatment group are lower than those in the control group(P<0.05),the curative effect of TCM syndrome is higher than the control group(P<0.05),the total clinical efficacy of HT is better than the control group(P<0.01).Compared with the previous two groups,TSH in thyroid function decreased,FT3 and FT4 both increased(P<0.01),there was no statistical difference between two groups(P>0.05).The treatment group reduced TPOAb and TGAb significantly better than the control group(P<0.01).During the treatment,there were no adverse events in the two groups,and no abnormalities were found in blood routine,urine routine,stool routine,liver and kidney function,and electrocardiogram.Conclusion: Pei Tu Xiao Ying Fang combined with levothyroxine sodium can significantly improve the clinical efficacy of HT patients,improve their symptoms and signs,and reduce the levels of TPOAb and TGAb.The efficacy is better than levothyroxine sodium,and will not affect the therapeutic effect of levothyroxine sodium,safe and effective.It provides new ideas and methods for the treatment of HT with TCM.
