Research On The Cultivation Path Of Agricultural Students’ "Feelings For Agriculture,Rural Areas And Farmers" In Agricultural Colleges In The Context Of Rural Revitalization

Higher agricultural education is the highest level of agricultural education and has unique advantages in the development and construction of human capital in the countryside,which is important for the comprehensive promotion of rural revitalization.In 2018,the Ministry of Education issued "the Action Plan for Science and Technology Innovation for Rural Revitalization in Higher Education Institutions(2018-2022)".On May 4,2023,in his reply letter to the students of the small institute of science and technology of China Agricultural University,General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized: "Cultivate love for agriculture,train your skills to prosper agriculture,and build your career on the big stage of rural revitalization".On September 5,2019,General Secretary Xi Jinping sent a message to teachers and students in agricultural universities: "Take the establishment of moral education as the root,and take the strengthening of agriculture and prosperity of agriculture as your own mission." "Talent in Agriculture and Forestry Education and Training Program 2.0" proposes to "cultivate agriculture and forestry students’ literacy of ’loving agriculture,knowing agriculture and doing agriculture’" and to "guide students to learn agriculture,love agriculture,know agriculture and do agriculture,write their dissertations on the motherland,integrate nostalgia into their blood,and enhance their sense of mission and responsibility to serve the’three rural fields’ and the modernization of agriculture and rural areas." The return of a large number of agricultural students with higher agricultural education and a "Feelings for Agriculture,Rural Areas and Farmers" to the countryside will inject vitality and vigour into the construction of the talent team in the area of Agriculture,Rural Areas and Farmers,which is an inevitable requirement and trend for the comprehensive promotion of rural revitalization.The cultivation of "Feelings for Agriculture,Rural Areas and Farmers" by agricultural colleges and universities is the fulfillment of their responsibilities and the historical mission to realize the synergy between higher agricultural education and the revitalization of rural talents.Therefore,in the context of rural revitalization,it is an important research issue to explore the improvement paths to enhance the effectiveness of cultivating the "Feelings for Agriculture,Rural Areas and Farmers" of agricultural students in agricultural colleges,so that agricultural students in agricultural colleges can practice their mission of serving agriculture.Guided by the basic theories of Marxism and the basic principles of ideological and political education,this thesis,on the basis of clarifying the concepts of rural revitalization,agricultural colleges,agricultural students and "Feelings for Agriculture,Rural Areas and Farmers",discusses the problem from four aspects.Firstly,the basic connotation of the cultivation of "Feelings for Agriculture,Rural Areas and Farmers" among agricultural students in agricultural colleges was discussed in detail through literature research and qualitative research,and the internal logic of the cultivation of "Feelings for Agriculture,Rural Areas and Farmers" among those students was further elaborated.Secondly,selecting junior and senior agricultural students from five agricultural colleges as the survey objects,the current situation of cultivating "Feelings for Agriculture,Rural Areas and Farmers" among agricultural students in agricultural colleges and universities in China is dialectically analyzed by means of survey research and quantitative analysis by using SPSS software.Thirdly,according to the basic principles of ideological and political education,the causes of those problems are analyzed in the light of the aforementioned current situation.Finally,on the basis of the causes,the thesis tries to solve the existing problems and propose six improvement paths for the cultivation of the "Feelings for Agriculture,Rural Areas and Farmers" of agricultural students in agricultural colleges and universities with the aim of rural revitalization.
