Optimization Of Spatial Layout Of Livestock And Poultry Breeding In Sichuan Province

In recent years,with the continuous development of China’s economy and society,the demand for livestock and poultry products has been increasing,driving the rapid development of livestock and poultry breeding.At the same time,the production of livestock and poultry waste is also constantly increasing,bringing increasingly serious ecological and environmental problems.In this context,the management of livestock and poultry breeding waste has gradually become a focus of widespread concern in society,and a large number of relevant policy measures have been introduced,providing important policy support for promoting the management and resource utilization of livestock and poultry breeding waste.From the perspective of pollution sources,scientific layout is the key to solving the problem of pollution and treatment of livestock and poultry breeding waste.However,there is currently little research on the rational layout of livestock and poultry breeding space,and there is still a lack of scientific theoretical guidance in the layout planning practice of livestock and poultry breeding.Based on this,this article studies the reasonable layout of livestock and poultry breeding space from the perspective of environmental carrying capacity,and proposes relevant measures to provide relevant reference for government decision-making.This study takes Sichuan Province as an example,based on the theories of environmental carrying capacity,comparative advantage,and spatial layout optimization,uses the environmental carrying capacity calculation method to measure the environmental carrying capacity,environmental carrying capacity index,and environmental carrying capacity risk of livestock and poultry breeding,and evaluates and analyzes the current situation of spatial layout of livestock and poultry breeding in Sichuan Province.On this basis,a comparative advantage index was further constructed to calculate and analyze the comprehensive comparative advantages of livestock and poultry breeding environments in various regions of Sichuan Province.Finally,based on the research results,propose optimization strategies and related guarantee measures for the spatial layout of livestock and poultry breeding in Sichuan Province.The research results indicate that:(1)From the calculation results of the environmental carrying capacity index,there is still great potential for livestock and poultry farming in Sichuan Province,but there are significant differences among different regions.Specifically,based on nitrogen and phosphorus elements,Sichuan Province has significant potential for livestock and poultry farming as a whole,and various economic zones also have potential for livestock and poultry farming.Based on the calculation of nitrogen element,the livestock and poultry breeding potential of the five economic zones from small to large is Panxi Economic Zone,Northeast Sichuan Economic Zone,South Sichuan Economic Zone,Chengdu Plain Economic Zone,and Northwest Sichuan Ecological Economic Zone;From the perspective of each city(state),except for Ya’an City and Panzhihua City,all other cities(states)have the potential for livestock and poultry breeding.Based on the calculation of phosphorus element,the livestock and poultry breeding potential of the five economic zones from small to large is Northeast Sichuan Economic Zone,South Sichuan Economic Zone,Chengdu Plain Economic Zone,Panxi Economic Zone,and Northwest Sichuan Ecological Economic Zone;From the perspective of each city(state),except for Ya’an City,all other cities(states)have the potential for livestock and poultry breeding.(2)From the risk assessment of environmental carrying capacity,90.48% of cities(prefectures)in Sichuan Province do not have environmental risks in livestock and poultry farming based on nitrogen element calculation,and 95.24% of cities(prefectures)in Sichuan Province do not have environmental risks in livestock and poultry farming based on phosphorus element calculation,both of which do not exceed their environmental carrying capacity.Specifically,from the perspective of the five major economic zones,based on nitrogen and phosphorus elements,all five economic zones in Sichuan Province are in potential zones,indicating that there is no environmental carrying risk.From the perspective of each city(state),based on nitrogen element calculation,Ya’an City and Panzhihua City are located in overloaded areas,and the risk of carrying capacity of livestock and poultry breeding environment is relatively high;Based on phosphorus element calculation,only Ya’an City is located in an overloaded area,which poses a significant risk of carrying capacity for livestock and poultry breeding environment.(3)From the comprehensive comparative advantages of livestock and poultry breeding environment in Sichuan Province,most cities(prefectures)in Sichuan Province have comparative advantages in livestock and poultry breeding.Specifically,from the perspective of the five economic zones,based on the calculation of nitrogen and phosphorus,the comprehensive comparative advantage of environment is Northwest Sichuan Ecological Economic Zone>Panxi Ecological Economic Zone>Chengdu Plain Economic Zone≥South Sichuan Economic Zone>Northeast Sichuan Ecological Economic Zone.From the perspective of each city(state),based on nitrogen element calculation,Ya’an City and Panzhihua City do not have a comprehensive comparative advantage in the environment;Based on phosphorus element calculation,Ya’an City has a comprehensive comparative advantage in the environment.(4)Sichuan Province can make appropriate adjustments to the layout of livestock and poultry farming in various regions based on the potential of livestock and poultry farming,environmental carrying capacity risks,and comprehensive comparative advantages of the environment.Specifically,the Northwest Sichuan Ecological and Economic Zone can serve as a key development area for livestock and poultry farming,increasing the number of livestock and poultry farming.Chengdu Plain Economic Zone,South Sichuan Economic Zone and Northeast Sichuan Economic Zone can moderately increase the number of livestock and poultry breeding.From the perspective of various cities(prefectures),regions such as Ganzi Prefecture,Aba Prefecture,Zigong City,Liangshan Prefecture,Mianyang City,and Nanchong City can be regarded as key development areas for livestock and poultry breeding.Regions such as Guangyuan City,Leshan City,and Suining City can be used as general livestock and poultry breeding development areas to moderately increase the total amount of livestock and poultry breeding.Regions such as Luzhou City and Yibin City can appropriately reduce the number of livestock and poultry breeding,while Ya’an City and Panzhihua City can moderately reduce the number of livestock and poultry breeding.(5)From the perspective of environmental carrying capacity,Sichuan Province should further develop and improve the spatial layout plan for livestock and poultry breeding,moderately adjust the breeding structure,actively promote the resource utilization of livestock and poultry breeding waste,promote technological innovation related to livestock and poultry breeding,and coordinate the promotion of livestock and poultry breeding and environmental protection to achieve green and high-quality development of animal husbandry.
