| This experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of Chinese herbal medicine Lactobacillus preparation on growth performance,antioxidant capacity and flavor substance content of AA broilers,and to provide reference for the practical application of Chinese herbal medicine Lactobacillus preparation in broiler growth.A total of 450 1-day-old AA broilers were randomly divided into 5 groups with 6replicates per group and 15 broilers per replicate.One control group and four experimental groups were set up.Group I was used as the control group to feed the basal diet.The proportion of Chinese herbal medicine added in groups II,III,IV and V was 0.25%,0.5%,1% and 2%,respectively.During the experiment,JM113 powder(The feed additive amount is 1 g/kg)was added to all experimental groups.The experiment lasted for 42 days.The main results were as follows :1.In terms of growth performance,At the age of 1-42 days of AA broilers,compared with group I,different levels of Chinese herbal medicine Lactobacillus preparation significantly reduced the mortality rate of broilers(P < 0.01),and the European benefit index of test groups III,IV and V was significantly increased(P <0.05).In terms of organ index,at 21 days of age,the Bursa of Fabricius index of group V was significantly higher than that of group I(P < 0.05);At 42 days of age,the Liver index of groups II and III was significantly higher than that of group I(P < 0.05).In terms of flavor substance content,with the increase of the level of Chinese herbal medicine Lactobacillus preparation,the content of inosinic acid in breast muscle of AA broilers gradually increased.The content of inosinic acid in breast muscle of 21-day-old test IV,V and 42-day-old test IV groups was higher than that of group I(P < 0.05).2.With the improvement of the level of Chinese herbal medicine Lactobacillus preparation,it can promote the villus development of Duodenum,Jejunum and Ileum of AA broilers,increase villi height and villous crypt ratio(VH/CD),improve the absorption efficiency of nutrients,and also improve the activity of antioxidant substances in animal body and improve the antioxidant capacity.The effect on the morphological structure of the small intestine,At 21 days of age,The Duodenum villus height(VH)and VH/CD of group V were significantly higher than those of group I(P <0.05);The Jejunum VH/CD in group V was significantly higher than that in group I(P< 0.05);The Ileum VH and VH/CD in group III,IV and V were significantly higher than those in group I(P < 0.01);At 42 days of age,The Duodenum VH and VH/CD in group IV and V were significantly higher than those in group I(P < 0.05);Compared with group I,the Jejunum VH of group III,IV and V was significantly increased(P <0.05),and the VH/CD was significantly increased(P < 0.01);Compared with group I,different levels of Chinese herbal medicine Lactobacillus preparation could significantly increase the VH of Ileum(P < 0.01),and significantly increase VH/CD(P< 0.05),but the crypt depth(CD)of Ileum in group IV and V increased significantly(P< 0.05).In terms of antioxidant,at 21 days of age,compared with group I,the activity of superoxide dismutase(SOD)in groups III and IV was significantly increased(P <0.01),and the activity of total antioxidant capacity(T-AOC)in groups IV and V was also significantly increased(P < 0.05).On the contrary,the content of malonaldehyde(MDA)in groups III,IV and V was significantly decreased(P < 0.01);At 42 days of age,the activity of SOD in groups III,IV and V was significantly higher than that in group I(P < 0.01).This shows that Chinese herbal medicine Lactobacillus preparation can promote the intestinal development of broilers,increase the absorption area,increase the activity of SOD and T-AOC,and reduce the content of MDA.3.With the level of Chinese herbal medicine Lactobacillus preparation increased,the expression of growth-related genes such as Occludin,Claudin-1 and GATA-3 in the intestine was promoted,the intestinal barrier function was improved,and the transport of carbohydrate transporters was promoted.At 21 days of age,compared with group I,the relative expression of Occludin in Duodenum of group IV and Jejunum of group V was significantly increased(P < 0.05);The relative expression of Claudin-1 in Duodenum of group III and IV and Jejunum of group III was significantly higher than that of group I(P < 0.05);Compared with group I,the relative expression of GATA-3in Duodenum was significantly increased(P < 0.05),but the relative expression of GATA-3 in Jejunum of group IV and V was significantly decreased(P < 0.05).At 42 days of age,the relative expression of Occludin in Duodenum of group III,IV and V and Jejunum of group V was significantly lower than that of group I(P < 0.05);Compared with group I,the relative expression of Claudin-1 in Duodenum of groups II and III was significantly increased(P < 0.05),but Claudin-1 in Jejunum of groups II,IV and V was significantly decreased(P < 0.05);The expression of GATA-3 in Duodenum of group IV and V was significantly lower than that of group I(P < 0.05),and the expression of GATA-3 in Jejunum of group IV was significantly higher than that of group II(P < 0.05).In summary,Chinese herbal medicine Lactobacillus preparation can significantly reduce the death rate of AA broilers,increase organ index and flavor substance content,promote intestinal villus development,increase intestinal VH/CD,enhance antioxidant activity,and increase the expression level of growth-related genes in the intestine.To sum up the above test results,the most suitable concentration of Chinese herbal medicine Lactobacillus preparation in feed is 1 %(JM113 powder additive amount is 1g/kg). |
