Facing a new round of development transformation,China’s high-quality skilled talents are facing a large gap.For vocational education,this is both a good opportunity for improvement and a difficult challenge.In recent years,China has put vocational education in a more prominent position in the education reform,formulates and implements a series of policies and measures to encourage the development of vocational education,aiming at improving the teaching quality and innovation ability,promoting the development and progress of teaching methods,and cultivating high-quality talents with both ability and moral integrity.Secondary vocational education is the starting point of vocational education in China.How to upgrade its teaching methods has become one of the urgent problems that educators need to solve at present.The introduction of Project teaching method provides new ideas for this purpose.Project teaching method focuses on the understanding and application of knowledge and the cultivation and improvement of professional quality of students.It is highly consistent with the goal of vocational education in the new era of China,and is one of the teaching methods that are more concerned in the field of vocational education at present.The purpose of this study is to explore how to apply the Project teaching method in the course of Animal Parasitic Diseases in secondary vocational schools to improve the quality of classroom teaching actually and achieve the teaching objectives effectively.According to the actual situation of teaching practice,the students of Animal Husbandry Major in School A of Lanzhou Agricultural Secondary Vocational College are selected as the application objects of the Project teaching method.By using the methods of questionnaire and interview,the author investigated the current teaching situation of the specialized courses of the application objects,analyzed the application objects’ characteristics of learning situation,and found the problems in the teaching and learning.By looking up and sorting out literature,the author understood the research status of Project teaching method and teaching methods in the course of Animal Parasitic Diseases,defined some core concepts,determined the theoretical basis,and analyzed the feasibility of applying the Project teaching method.Centering on the Project teaching method,based on the course objectives,combined with the content of the teaching materials,a series of teaching activities are designed and practiced in the classroom to form application cases of the Project teaching method in the course of Animal Parasitic Diseases.Finally,the paper collected teaching feedback through questionnaire,interview and other survey methods,evaluated the practical effect of teaching cases,summarized and analyzed the shortcomings and problems in the application of Project teaching method,explored how to apply project teaching method better in the course of Animal Parasitic Diseases,and put forward suggestions and prospects for the application of project teaching method in secondary vocational schools.This application research is based on the training objectives of the Animal Husbandry Major in vocational schools."Ascariasis" in the course of Animal Parasitic Diseases is selected as the teaching project carrier,and the teaching project is designed and practiced in the classroom around the three main themes of "identifying pathogens","diagnosing diseases",and "prevention and treatment".As the subject of inquiry in the classroom,students collect and classify learning information in the form of group cooperation,improve the learning interest of the course of Animal Parasitic Diseases,and improve the comprehensive learning ability and professional quality.The teaching method is highly evaluated by students.This application study confirmed that integrating Project teaching method into the teaching of the course of Animal Parasitic Diseases can improve the quality of classroom teaching.When developing teaching projects,it is necessary to base on the characteristics of learning conditions.During the implementation process,it is necessary to reasonably allocate class hours and focus on group cooperation. |
