This study was conducted on the premise of investigating and studying the current status of peanut shelling machinery development and problems in shelling operations.Based on the indepth discussion of peanut shelling machinery shelling principle and other related technologies,the improved design and experimental research on the edge scraper type peanut shelling machine shelling drum and concave plate sieve were carried out.The main research content is as follows:Firstly,physical parameters and moisture content were determined.This part mainly measured the geometry and moisture content of Dabaisha pods and kernel.Peanut pod length,width and height values were mainly distributed between 36mm~43mm,15mm~19mm and15mm~18mm.Peanut kernel length,width and height values were mainly distributed between16mm~22mm,8mm~12mm and 8mm~12mm intervals.The moisture contents at different moisture conditioning ratios were 10.55%,11.95%,13.46%,14.80% and 15.57%,respectively.Secondly,shear force and impact energy were measured.With the increase of moisture content,the shear rupture force of pods tended to decrease and then increase,and the shear rupture force of kernels tended to increase and then decrease.Under the three shear head loading directions,the shear rupture force of peanut pods and kernels was the smallest in the vertical direction,followed by the second largest in the positive direction and the largest in the lateral direction.As the water content increased,the impact energy required for pod shell rupture continued to increase,and the impact energy required for pod rupture was greater for frontally placed pods than for laterally placed pods.Thirdly,shelling drum was improved design.The influence law of the corrugated blade cycle on the debris removal rate and crushing rate in the mathematical model was explored.With the increase of the corrugated blade period,the debris removal rate and the crushing rate both show a trend of increasing and then decreasing.The remaining parameters of the roller are the inclination angle of 25°,the diameter of 280 mm,the length of 400 mm and the scraper material of ABS resin.Fourthly,the concave plate sieve was designed.Based on the analysis of the forces on the longitudinal peanut pods,the law between the tangential forces on the pods and the diameter of the fence bars was investigated.Moreover,the bar diameters were determined to be 3mm,5mm and 7mm respectively.The remaining parameters of the concave plate screen are 11 mm spacing and 420 mm length of the grating.Finally,decapsulation performance was tested and data was analyzed.On the basis of single-factor tests on the grating gap,feeding volume and corrugated blade period factors respectively,orthogonal test with selected working speed,working gap,grating diameter and corrugated edge period.Moreover,the optimal combination of parameters was obtained:corrugated blade period of 12π,speed of 334.69r/min,grating diameter of 5.87 mm,working clearance of 17 mm.At this time,the desiccation rate was 98.34%,and the crushing rate was 2.50%.This was to meet industry standards.The results of the repeated tests were in general agreement with the optimized results.
