| Cultivated land is the foundation of the national economy and the basic guarantee of food security. However, excessive reclamation and unreasonable farming methods have led to problems such as decreased soil organic matter content, degradation of physical and chemical properties and ecological functions, threatening national food security and hindering the sustainable development of China ’s agricultural economy. The improvement of cultivated land quality is an effective countermeasure to solve food problems and ensure national development and social stability under the conditions of resource and environment constraints. Therefore, scientific evaluation of cultivated land quality is of great significance for the construction and improvement of cultivated land quality, the promotion of high and stable yield of cultivated land, and the sustainable use of cultivated land resources,so as to achieve national food security. From the perspective of human needs, based on the content of human-land relationship theory and system theory, this paper aims to build high-standard farmland, divides the connotation of cultivated land quality into four aspects : soil fertility, engineering, space and ecology, and uses cultivated land patches as evaluation units. The weighted comprehensive index model and obstacle degree model are used to explore the characteristics and differences of cultivated land quality between modern agricultural areas and traditional agricultural areas in Fujin City, and to identify the obstacle factors of cultivated land quality in different regions,so as to provide theoretical reference for the utilization, protection and improvement of cultivated land in Fujin City. The main conclusions are as follows :(1)The overall quality level of cultivated land in the study area is good, and the quality of cultivated land in modern agricultural areas is better than that in traditional agricultural areas. For the quality of soil fertility, the overall level of the study area has reached a good level,in which the quality of soil fertility in traditional agricultural areas is better than that in modern agricultural areas, mainly due to the lack of natural soil conditions in modern agricultural areas;in terms of engineering quality, the overall level of the study area has reached a good level, among which the engineering quality of modern agricultural areas is better than that of traditional agricultural areas, mainly due to the relatively complete engineering construction in the early stage of modern agricultural areas;in terms of spatial quality, the overall level of the study area has reached a good level, and the spatial quality of modern agricultural areas is better than that of traditional agricultural areas, mainly due to the early planning of modern agricultural areas, the shape of the fields is regular and concentrated, indicating that the land remediation in traditional agricultural areas needs to be strengthened;for the quality of ecological environment, the overall level of the study area is good, and the spatial quality of traditional agricultural areas is better than that of modern agricultural areas, which is mainly affected by geographical location. It can be seen that the main reason for the difference in the quality of cultivated land between modern agricultural areas and traditional agricultural areas is the lack of soil fertility and engineering construction. Therefore, modern agricultural areas should pay attention to scientific fertilization, steadily improve the level of cultivated land fertility, improve infrastructure construction for traditional agricultural areas, and strengthen land consolidation.(2)For the whole study area, the order of obstacle degree of criterion layer is engineering quality > space quality > soil fertility quality > ecological environment quality, and the order of obstacle degree of single index is farmland forest network rate > ditch density > field regularity >soil organic matter content. The top four indicators of obstacle degree in traditional agricultural areas and modern agricultural areas were summarized as farmland forest network rate, ditch density, field regularity, soil organic matter content and concentrated connectivity.Among them,2indicators belong to engineering quality,2 indicators belong to spatial quality, and 1 indicator belongs to soil fertility quality. The conclusion is consistent with the diagnosis results of cultivated land obstacle factors. Therefore, based on the development needs of high-standard farmland construction and agricultural modernization, this paper focuses on the maximum engineering quality, space quality and soil fertility quality, and proposes measures to improve the quality of cultivated land from three aspects : strengthening the renovation project, implementing the scientific fertilizer distribution project and guiding the new agricultural management entity, which has positive practical significance for guiding the improvement and construction of regional cultivated land quality. This study is conducive to finding out the quality of cultivated land in Fujin City and comparing the quality differences between modern agricultural areas and traditional cultivated land.It is of great significance to improve the quality monitoring of cultivated land, strengthen the quality improvement of cultivated land in different regions, promote the protection and utilization of cultivated land, and promote the modernization level of agricultural development. |
