Effects Of Different Leaf Curtain Shapes On Fruit Quality And Economic Benefits Of Wine Grapes

Xinjiang is the largest production base of high-quality wine grape raw materials in China.In summer,Xinjiang`s main wine grape producing areas often have extreme climates of high temperature and drought,which quicken the ripening process of grapes,resulting in excessive accumulation of sugar,insufficient accumulation of organic acids and phenol,and other problems,that have a serious impact on the quality of wine grapes.In addition,cultivation management measures are also one of the factors affecting the quality of fruits.Therefore,under the special crop growth conditions in Xinjiang,it is of great significance to analyze the influence of different leaf curtain types on the growth and development of wine grapes and fruit quality,in order to improve the quality of wine grapes.In this paper,taking the main wine grape varieties Cabernet signorina and Merlot in Xinjiang as the test materials,three leaf curtain shaping methods of hedge type,T type and V type were set up to observe the environmental,photosynthetic physiological characteristics and fruit quality indexes of the fruit domain under different shaping methods,aiming to provide technical support for improving the fruit quality of the Xinjiang wine grapes.The main findings are as follows:(1)Through the study of the environmental of the fruit domain,it is found that the group under the V-shaped leaf curtain has the best light reception,which is 57%higher than that of the hedge type and 39%higher than that of the T-type leaf curtain.Through the study of temperature and humidity,it is found that the V-shaped leaf curtain can significantly reduce the humidity and temperature compared with the other two leaf curtain treatments.(2)Through the observation of the physiological indicators of different leaf curtain types,it was found that the content of chlorophyll and soluble protein under the V-shaped leaf curtain was increased by 13%and 2%compared with the hedge type,and the content of chlorophyll and soluble protein under the T-shaped leaf curtain was increased by 9.4%and 1.6%compared with the hedge type;the net photosynthetic rate of the V-shaped leaf curtain was significantly greater than that of the T type and the hedge type,therefore,the V-shaped leaf curtain shaping method could improve the leaf quality and the overall photosynthetic efficiency of the leaf curtain.(3)Through the study of fruit yield under different leaf curtain types,the highest yields of Cabernet signorina and Merlot under V-type leaf curtain reached 1267.47 kg/667 m~2and 1020.02 kg/667 m~2,reached1080.11 kg/667 m~2and 853.47 kg/667 m~2under T-shaped leaf curtain,and reached 653.89 kg/667 m~2and466.01 kg/667 m~2under hedge-type leaf curtain.Among them the yield of V-shaped leaf curtain was significantly higher than that of T-shaped and hedge-type leaf curtain.Further research on fruit quality found that the single panic weight,single grain weight and peel-fruit ratio of the V-shaped leaf curtain were significantly higher than those of the T-shaped leaf curtain and the hedge type leaf curtain.(4)Through the determination of the content of phenol in the peels and seeds of Cabernet signorina and Merlot under different leaf curtain types,it was found that the contents of total phenol,flavonoid,flavonoid,instant and anthologists in the peels and seeds of Cabernet signorina and Merlot were all manifested as:V-shaped leaf curtains>T-shaped leaf curtains>hedge-type leaf curtains.(5)By comparing the economic benefits of different leaf curtain shapes,we found that the overall economic benefits of V-shaped leaf curtain>T-shaped leaf curtain>hedge wall-shaped leaf curtain,indicating that the use of V-shaped leaf curtain shaping method in wine grape cultivation management can better improve the overall profitability of farmers.
