Study On The International Competitiveness Of China’s Pelagic Squid Fishing Industry

Pelagic squid fishing products are important marine fishery resources and play a more and more important role in the international trade market of aquatic products.China is an important country in the production,processing,import and export trade of pelagic squid fishing products,with high resource endowment coefficient and resource advantages.However,in order to improve the international competitive advantage of this product on this basis,it is necessary to comprehensively and systematically study the competitive situation of pelagic squid fishing products and take positive countermeasures on the basis of studying the existing trade structure and international competitiveness theory,studying the trade structure,the factors affecting competitive advantage and their action mechanism,using the method of economic analysis,Expand the scale of foreign trade and improve international competitiveness.On the basis of previous studies,this paper collects and analyzes a large number of relevant data and materials,adopts the methods of combining theoretical analysis and empirical analysis,qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis,and uses the theories of economics and management,as well as the theory of competitive advantage and the theory of international competitiveness,The import and export processing trade of pelagic squid fishing products in China was systematically studied.This paper is divided into six parts,which analyzes,compares,summarizes and evaluates the current situation of the trade scale,trade structure and export trade competitiveness of China’s pelagic squid fishing products,quantitatively analyzes the influencing factors affecting the export trade scale of pelagic squid fishing products,and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to improve the international competitiveness of China’s pelagic squid fishing products and expand the trade scale.The main contents and conclusions of each part are as follows:Part Ⅰ: introduction.This paper summarizes the relevant theories about trade structure and international competitiveness at home and abroad,especially those related to aquatic products,introduces the background,purpose and significance of the research on marine squid fishing products,and expounds the research methods,technical route,framework structure,technical route and methods,as well as the innovation and shortcomings of this paper.Part Ⅱ: trade structure of world pelagic squid fishing products.This paper expounds the development of production and trade of world pelagic squid fishing products from the aspects of production and trade scale,import and export commodity structure and regional structure.The production and trade scale of pelagic squid fishing products shows a linear growth trend,and plays a more and more important role in the production and trade of aquatic products in the world.Part Ⅲ: the trade structure of China’s pelagic squid fishing products.The current situation of squid fishing products in China was analyzed from the aspects of output,trade scale and trade structure.The trade scale of China’s pelagic squid fishing products is affected by the overall scale of the world.At present,the output and export of Fisheries rank first in the world.Frozen cephalopods play an important role in China’s import and export trade.Asia is China’s main import region,while Japan,South Korea,the European Union and the United States are China’s main export regions.There are structural risks in China’s trade of pelagic squid fishing products.Part Ⅳ: the international competitiveness of China’s pelagic squid fishing products.By collecting relevant indicators,this paper constructs the index evaluation system of the competitiveness of China’s pelagic squid fishing products,and comprehensively evaluates and analyzes the international competitiveness of China’s pelagic squid fishing products by using the principal component analysis method.At present,the competitiveness of China’s marine squid fishing products is second only to Peru and Vietnam,but stronger than other countries.Part Ⅴ: analysis of influencing factors.This paper analyzes the factors affecting the export trade scale of China’s marine squid fishing products,and analyzes the role of each factor in different stages by using the single product constant market model.Part Ⅵ: conclusion summary and policy recommendations.The overall export competitiveness of China’s pelagic squid fishing products is strong and has the advantage of resource endowment.International demand,export commodity structure and market distribution are the main factors affecting the export competitiveness of pelagic squid fishing products.In the face of increasingly stringent international market demand and growing international and domestic market demand,optimizing the export commodity structure,improving the market structure and improving the quality level of marine squid fishing products are the best policy orientation to improve export competitiveness.
