the Yangtze River should not be limited to compensation for dismantling fishing boats and payment of basic social security.The real impact of the withdrawal of fishermen,and the dilemma caused by this impact.This paper selects five counties and cities in the Yangtze River Basin where fishing is prohibited: X City in Anhui Province,Q County,J County,S County,and P County in Guizhou Province as research cases.,looking forward to understanding the real life and production conditions of fishermen after returning from fishing,and using a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods to study the social adaptation of fishermen banned from fishing in the Yangtze River.First,by referring to relevant domestic and foreign literatures,combined with the current research trends and progress,hypotheses about the influencing factors of social adaptation of fishermen who have withdrawn from fishing,and try to analyze the influencing factors in combination with the theory of empowerment,sustainable livelihood and social adaptation.Second,conduct field investigations to gain an in-depth understanding of the actual adaptation situation of the case sites and fishermen who have returned from fishing,and collect relevant data and make records for subsequent analysis.Finally,the collected materials were sorted and analyzed and the hypothesis was verified.It was found that the fishermen who returned from fishing had difficulties in economic,social environment and psychology.As far as the main contents of the specific chapters of this paper are concerned,the first chapter is the introduction part.The purpose of analyzing the research of this paper is to propose solutions to the problem of fishermen’s social adaptation,so as to smoothly promote the implementation of the Yangtze River protection policy.Combined with the research results of domestic and foreign scholars on social adaptation and fishermen,it highlights the practical significance of the author’s writing of this article,expands the group types of social adaptation research,and deepens the society’s understanding of the fishermen who have returned from fishing.The second chapter is the theoretical part,based on the relevant concepts and theories are combined with the actual situation to explore the social adaptation problems encountered by the retreating fishermen,in order to propose targeted solutions to the social adaptation of the retreating fishermen.Based on the previous research results and combined with the actual situation of the fishermen who have returned from fishing,design questionnaires and interview questions,visit the case sites on the spot,understand the production and living conditions of the fishermen who have withdrawn from fishing,obtain detailed social adaptation measures of the fishermen who have withdrawn from fishing,aiming at the problems of social adaptation of the fishermen who have withdrawn from the fishing.Participate in three fishermen who have returned from fishing.On-thespot visits to fishing villages in Anhui,Guizhou and other places in the Yangtze River Basin,to communicate with fishermen on social re-adaptation after the withdrawal,to obtain detailed data in the form of questionnaires,etc.The problems encountered by fishermen at this stage are proposed to solve the problems,which will help the orderly implementation of the "Yangtze River Protection" policy,help solve the practical problems of fishermen,effectively promote rural revitalization,and provide beneficial supplements to the healthy development of all aspects of society.There is a long way to go to solve the social adaptation problem of fishermen who have withdrawn from the Yangtze River.This paper provides ideas for solving the social adaptation of fishermen who have withdrawn from fishing in the Yangtze River in three aspects: institutional support,organizational participation,and subject initiative.Achieving social
