Effects Of Mycotoxin Absorbing Agent On Performance,Serum Index And Intestinal Immune And Barrier Functions Of Swine

In this experiment,two vomitoxin absorbing agents were added to the diets of growing pigs containing vomitoxin,and the test animals were used to compare the growth performance,serum biochemical indexes,serum antioxidant indexes,expression of antioxidant genes and cytokines in intestinal mucosa and serum immunoglobulin levels in each group.The innovation of this research is to compare whether adsorption-type vomitoxin absorbing agents and biological vomitoxin absorbing agents can improve the growth performance of growing pigs fed with vomitoxin,alleviate the level of oxidative stress of the organism brought by mycotoxin contamination,improve the metabolism of the organism and enhance the immunity,and compare the potential application value of the two additives to provide a reference for safe livestock and poultry production.Ninety ternary crossbred pigs in fattening stage with uniform weight and health were randomly divided into 3 groups with 5 replicates each,6 pigs in each replicate,half male and half female.group Ⅰ was the control group and fed the basal diet,while groups Ⅱ and Ⅲ were fed with 2 kg/t of adsorbent-type demulcent or biological demulcent in the basal diet respectively,with a pre-test period of 5 days and a positive test period of 40 days.The test results showed that.(1)the average weight at the end of group Ⅱ and group Ⅲ were significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05),the average daily weight gain was significantly higher(P<0.05),and(P<0.05);diarrhea rate and vomiting rate were significantly reduced(P<0.05);the average daily feed intake of group Ⅱ and group Ⅲ had a tendency to increase compared with the control group(P=0.061);it can be seen that both demulcent agents improved the growth performance of growing pigs.(2)The serum glutamic oxalacetic transaminase level in both group Ⅱ and group Ⅲ was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05),the serum lactate dehydrogenase level in group Ⅲ was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05),and the serum glucose level in both group Ⅱ and group Ⅲ was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05),indicating that the two demulcent agents can be seen to regulate the serum biochemical indexes of growing pigs to a certain extent and improve the metabolism of the organism.(3)The total antioxidant capacity of serum in both group Ⅱ and group Ⅲ was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05);the malondialdehyde level was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05),and the serum catalase activity in group Ⅲ had a tendency to decrease compared with that in the control group,while that in group Ⅱ had a tendency to increase(P=0.082),which showed that the two vomitoxin absorbing agentss improved the antioxidant capacity of the organism.(4)The mRNA expression of KEAP1 in intestinal mucosa of both group Ⅱ and group Ⅲ was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05),the m RNA expression of IL-4 in intestinal mucosa of both group Ⅱ and group Ⅲ was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05),and the m RNA expression of IL-10 in intestinal mucosa of group Ⅲ was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05),indicating that both demulcent agents The effect of biological demulcent agent is better.(5)The serum IgA level in group Ⅱ was significantly higher than that in group Ⅰ(P<0.05);the serum IgM level in group Ⅲ was significantly higher than that in groups I and Ⅱ(P<0.05).In summary,the addition of adsorbent and biological vomitoxin absorbing agentss to rations containing mycotoxins can improve the growth performance of growing pigs,improve the antioxidant capacity of the body,regulate the serum biochemical indexes,inhibit the intestinal inflammatory response,and improve the immune performance of the body.The effect of biological vomitoxin absorbing agents is slightly better than that of adsorbent vomitoxin absorbing agents.
