In this study,we used the hybrid offspring of C3 and C4 lines independently bred to create three new materials of laying layers with different appearance characteristics.At 1-18 weeks,weekly body weight measurements of 100 individuals were selected and growth curve fitted.At 19 weeks,recorded and analyzed the flat head traits,tibial color and digits of the whole group.At 22-57 weeks,calculated the average perimeter egg yield.Mean egg yield curve fit from 22-43 weeks and curve fitting was performed to the egg production numbers at 22-43 weeks.Determined and analyzed the qualities of the 40 and53 week old eggs.The test results are as follows:1.Creation of breeding materials for three laying hens.Using cross-bred C3 and C4 lines.The offspring are in cross crossing,separating breeding materials of three feather colors.Black,black and white,brown feathers,accounted for 40.46%,34.45% and 25.09%,respectively.In adult hood,the ratio of phoenix and flat head is about 3:1,and the number and tibia are also separated.The number of black,black and white and brown feathers is89.24%,92.08% and 89.03%,respectively.The proportion of these three chickens are82.30%,39.56% and 52.97%,respectively.2.Growth performance of the three breeding materials.The mean weight of18-week-old black chicken,black and white chicken,and brown chicken was 1164.89±88.62 g,1185.73±155.75 g and 1179.13±119.65 g,respectively.The three differences are not significant(P>0.05).The mean weights of 32-week-old,black chicken,black and white chicken and brown chicken were 1501.88±148.84 g,1563.65±155.75 g and 1460.29±185.22 g,respectively,with brown feathers significantly lower than black and floral feathers.3.Egg-laying performance of the three breeding materials.As for black,floral and brown feather laying hens,the daily age of 50% open birth was between 155 and 156 days,and the highest laying rate reached 90.66%,92.03% and 90.75%,respectively.The cumulative number of eggs laid at 43 weeks was 130.17,129.62 and 128.12.And at 57 weeks was 209.66,209.06 and 207.18,respectively.The survival rate of eggs(18-40 weeks)was 98.56%,98.43% and 97.98%,respectively.The egg yield curves fit the yang ning model,and R2 was above 0.997.The 40-week-old egg weights of black,floral and brown feathers were 49.67 g,49.29 g and 49.05 g,respectively,and the material egg ratio was2.19:1,2.18:1 and 2.20:1 during 40-53 weeks,respectively.4.Egg quality of the three breeding materials.As for black,floral,and brown feather laying hens,at 40 weeks of age the egg-shape index was 1.30,1.35 and 1.32,respectively,black and white chicken were significantly higher than black chicken and brown chicken(P <0.05).Eggshell strength(kgf)was 3.93,3.50 and 3.42;Hasbro unit were 72.44,74.66 and 68.53(P <0.05);yolk ratio was 0.30,0.30 and 0.32(P <0.05).At 53 weeks of age the egg-shape index were 1.32,1.35 and 1.35,respectively,with Hasbro unit of 84.63,78.76 and 78.72,respectively.The breeding materials created by this study have laid a foundation for the cultivation of new strains and supporting lines of laying hens by measuring and analyzing the body shape,appearance and performance of growth,egg laying and egg quality.
