Investigation On Common Skin Diseases Of Dogs And Cats In Dalian Urban Area And Observation Of Clinical Efficacy In 2020

Dog and cat skin disease is one of the common clinical diseases of small animals.Because of its long course,difficult to cure and some zoonotic diseases,it not only threatens the health of dogs and cats,but also has adverse effects on people’s physical and mental health.With the increasing number of households with pets,cases of skin diseases in dogs and cats are increasing.Through the investigation and analysis of the incidence of dog and cat skin diseases in Dalian urban area,the regularity of incidence is studied,and the clinical treatment effect of the treatment drugs for common skin diseases in dogs and cats is analyzed,and the efficacy is evaluated,which provides a basis for the control of common skin diseases in dogs and cats.Methods: Through the investigation and statistics of the common skin diseases of dogs and cats in 7 large-scale animal hospitals in 4 districts of Dalian city,the causes of the skin diseases of dogs and cats in Dalian city and the relationship between the incidence and season,age,gender,breed were studied and analyzed.Samples of typical cases were collected,and pathogens were found through microscopic observation.Cases diagnosed as ectoparasitic skin diseases,bacterial skin diseases and fungal skin diseases were divided into three treatment groups,90 cases of systemic infection were selected,and each treatment group was divided into three treatment subgroups,with 30 animals in each treatment subgroup,respectively,with doxorubicin/averana/milberoxime,amoxicillin clavulanate potassium/cefalexin /cefixime sodium and itracin.Results: 1248 dogs with skin diseases were found,accounting for 10.72% of the total number of dogs.1762 cats with skin diseases,accounting for 12.25% of the total number of cats;Among the dog skin diseases,334 cases were bacterial skin diseases,accounting for 26.8% of the total,followed by ectoparasitic skin diseases and fungal skin diseases.Among the cat skin diseases,ectoparasitic skin diseases accounted for the highest proportion(37.5%),with 661 cases,followed by fungal skin diseases and bacterial skin diseases.There were 3010 cases of dog and cat skin diseases,and it was found that the onset time of common skin diseases in dogs and cats was mainly from June to September.Under 3 years old is the main age for dogs and cats to suffer from skin diseases,among which the incidence rate of young animals under 1 year old is the highest,accounting for 41.4% in dogs and 35.1% in cats.The incidence of male animals is higher than that of female animals;Most of the animal breeds that come to see a doctor are long-haired and dense-haired dogs and cats,which are influenced by the total number of breeding and visits.Dogs are concentrated in VIP,Keji,Shiba Inu,Golden Retriever and other breeds,while cats are concentrated in pastoral cats,puppet cats and Garfield cats.Clinical therapeutic effects of different drugs show that milbemycin oxime has the best effect in treating ectoparasitic skin diseases,with an effective rate of 93.3%,which is significantly different from other drugs in the same group,but medication compliance may be difficult.For the treatment of bacterial skin diseases,amoxicillin,clavulanate potassium and cefalexin have good effects,and the effective rate can reach 90%.Itraconazole has the best effect in the treatment of fungal dermatosis,with an effective rate of 96.7%,which is significantly different from that of this group of drugs with general effect,and terbinafine has a better therapeutic effect.Conclusion:(1)The incidence of bacterial skin diseases,parasitic skin diseases and fungal skin diseases in dogs in Dalian city is 26.8%,25.1% and 20.3% respectively.The incidence of parasitic dermatoses,fungal dermatoses and bacterial dermatoses in cats is 37.5%,31.8% and12.2%,respectively.Dermatosis of dogs and cats in Dalian urban area occurs all year round,with a high incidence from June to September;The incidence of dogs and cats within 3 years old is high,and the incidence of dogs and cats within 1 year old is the highest.The morbidity of males is higher than that of females.(2)Itraconazole has the best effect in treating dog and cat fungal dermatosis;Amoxicillin,potassium clavulanate and cefalexin are effective in treating bacterial skin diseases of dogs and cats.The effective rate of milbemycin is higher than other drugs in treating dog and cat acariasis.
