In this study,different amounts of Ce O2NPs(10nm,80nm)with different particle sizes(1mg·kg-1,10mg·kg-1,100mg·kg-1)were added to the soil of purple cabbage,Objective to explore the effect of Ce O2 NPs on the growth,yield and quality of purple cabbage.The main results are as follows:1、With the increase of application amount,the accumulation of Ce in purple cabbage and soil increased compared with the control.The distribution in purple cabbage tissue was root >leaf > stem.The accumulation of Ce in leaves,stems and roots of 10 nm treatment was higher than that of 80 nm treatment,and the accumulation of Ce in soil of 10 nm treatment was lower than that of 80 nm treatment.2、The dry weight of purple cabbage could be increased by adding Ce O2 NPs,With the increase of application amount,the dry weight of purple cabbage showed the trend of low dosage > medium dosage > high dosage > CK,and the dry weight of purple cabbage increased significantly by 27.60% under the low dosage of 10 nm.At the same dosage,the promotion effect of 10 nm treatment was greater than that of 80 nm treatment.Therefore,the dry weight of purple cabbage increased significantly under low dosage of 10 nm.3 、 Compared with the control,the chlorophyll content and Photosynthesis of purple cabbage were increased by Ce O2 NPs with different particle sizes;With the increase of 10 nm application amount,the trend of high dosage > medium dosage > low dosage > CK was presented.The chlorophyll difference and photosynthetic parameters(A、E、Ci and gs)of high dosage treatment were significantly improved,Under the same dosage of 10 nm,the promotion effect of 10 nm treatment was greater than that of 80 nm treatment.so the chlorophyll content and Photosynthesis of purple cabbage increased significantly with the high dosage of 10 nm.4、Ce O2 NPs with different particle size can improve the resistance of purple cabbage;Compared with the control,the MDA of 10 nm high dosage treatment decreased,but the difference was not significant.CAT and Pro increased significantly,increased by 60.90% and43.31% respectively.Compared with the control,MDA of 80 nm high dosage treatment increased,but CAT and Pro increased significantly,increased by 49.69% and 47.21%respectively.Therefore,the resistance of purple cabbage was significantly improved by high dosage of 80 nm.5、Compared with the control,the contents of nutrient elements in purple cabbage were increased by Ce O2 NPs with different particle sizes;The contents of N,Mg,Zn in shoot and N,P,K in underground were significantly increased under the medium dosage of 10 nm.The contents of N,P in shoot and underground were significantly increased under the low dosage of80 nm.The contents of Mn,Cu in shoot and Ca,Cu in underground were significantly increased under the medium dosage of 80 nm.At the same dosage,the promotion effect of 10 nm treatment was greater than that of 80 nm treatment.Therefore,the medium dosage of 10 nm was beneficial to the transfer of nutrients from the lower part of purple cabbage to the upper part of purple cabbage.6、The quality of purple cabbage can be improved by Ce O2 NPs with different particle size;The content of reducing sugar increased by 47.06%,the content of nitrate nitrogen decreased by 34.16%,and the content of vitamin C increased by 56.89%.At the same dosage,the promotion effect of 10 nm treatment was greater than that of 80 nm treatment.Therefore,the high dosage of 10 nm could significantly improve the quality of purple cabbage.7 、 The content of antioxidants in purple cabbage leaves increased after applying Ce O2NPs;The content of anthocyanins increased significantly by 59.96% in the high dosage of10 nm,and the content of total phenols increased significantly by 51.82% in the medium dosage of 80 nm.At the same dosage,the promotion effect of 10 nm treatment was greater than that of80 nm treatment.Therefore,the high dosage of 10 nm could significantly increase the antioxidant content,while the high dosage of 80 nm could significantly inhibit the anthocyanin content of purple cabbage.8、The effect of Ce O2 NPs on the activities of urease,alkaline phosphatase and sucrase showed "low promotion,high inhibition",while the activities of catalase showed inhibition.Compared with the control,the activity of urease increased significantly by 36.66% in 10 nm treatment,the activity of alkaline phosphatase increased significantly by 9.02% in low dosage treatment,and the activity of four enzymes was significantly inhibited in high dosage treatment;the activity of four enzymes was significantly inhibited in 80 nm treatment.At the same dosage,the inhibitory effect of 80 nm was greater than 10 nm.Therefore,the high dosage of 80 nm had a significant inhibitory effect on soil enzyme activity.
