Comparative Analysis Of Production Performance And Production Cost Of Yellow Feather Broilers In Different Feeding Ways

Different feeding methods have different effects on the production of yellow feather broilers.This article discusses the effects of four different rearing methods:closed cage(CC),semi-open cage(SOC),net-rearingin closed(NRC)and ground-rearing in closed(GRC)on the growth performance,slaughter performance and breeding cost of yellow feather broilers of Kwang Feng.ltd.The main results are as follows:The average drug consumption and feed-to-meat ratio of broiler chickens of GRC raising are higher than the other three feeding methods.The production indicators of NRC are not significantly different from the other three feeding methods;The result of curve analysis of the growth weight and weekly gain of a group of chickens from each of the four feeding ways(random sampling method taking samples of 50 weekly).The results show that the growth weight and weekly weight gain of the four feeding methods are relatively consistent.From the 5th week,the weekly weight of the cage feeding method began to be higher than that of the flat feeding method;Flocks have a peak at 5 weeks and 7 weeks of age.Three different models(Bertanlanffy,Gompertz,and Logistic)were used to perform nonlinear curve fitting on the growth of the chickens in the four feeding methods.It was found that the Bertanlanffy curve had the highest degree of fitting,with a fitting degree R~2of 0.998,and the inflection point of the Logistic curve Age and inflection point weight are consistent with actual growth.The rate of the light injury of carcassandbreast blister of broilers of CC are significantly higher than closed ground flat raising(P<0.01),and the bruise rate is significantly higher than the other three methods(P<0.01);The white skin color rate of GRC is significantly higher than the other three feeding methods(P<0.01).After slaughtering,it was found that the live weight,carcass weight,semi-eviscerate,eviscerate,abdominal fat weight,pectoral muscle weight,dressing percentage,rate of semi-eviscerate,eviscerate abdominal fat are extremely significant or significant different between in four feeding ways.(P<0.01 or P<0.05),but there is no significant difference between the four feeding methods in terms of leg muscle weight,pectoral muscle rate,and leg muscle rate.The feed cost and drug consumption of each chick of GRC are the highest;NRC has the highest construction cost of each one,while the CC is the lowest.The broiler of CC could cost less than the other method in the same production.In summary,the CC is the best way for the standard production of yellow feather broiler.
