Research On The Development Of The "Cross-Border Beef Cattle Project" In Yunnan Province From The Perspective Of Cross-Border Economic Cooperation

Since the reform and opening up,China’s economy has developed rapidly.With the continuous improvement of people’s living standards,the demand for beef is increasing.However,due to the high cost,large investment and long cycle of domestic beef cattle breeding,as well as the constraints of unreasonable industrial structure,shortage of land resources and limited breeding scale,the domestic beef production has been growing slowly in recent years,which is far from meeting the growing market demand,and the import growth of domestic beef is increasing rapidly.With the introduction of our "Belt and Road" initiative,cross-border economic cooperation with neighboring countries has been developing rapidly.Myanmar and Laos,which are adjacent to Yunnan province,attach great importance to the development of agriculture and animal husbandry,have good conditions for beef cattle breeding,abundant beef cattle resources,and have price advantages compared with domestic beef.Driven by favorable policy factors and market factors,China has jointly carried out "cross-border beef cattle project" with Myanmar,Laos and other neighboring countries.The implementation of the project is conducive to promoting economic and trade cooperation between China and neighboring countries,solving the prominent contradiction between supply and demand of domestic beef,stabilizing the domestic beef market price,curbing border beef smuggling,and ensuring food safety.In this paper,the cross-border beef cattle project is studied in depth by collecting relevant papers,research materials and news reports on cross-border economic cooperation and cross-border beef cattle project development,carding,researching and exploring the whole process of project development from the basis of project development,promoting implementation and follow-up development,in-depth analyzing the outstanding problems and key issues needing attention in the process of project development.After learning,summing up and summarizing the experience of relevant cross-border economic cooperation and development projects,this paper puts forward feasible countermeasures and suggestions in line with the development of "cross-border beef cattle project" from establishing cooperation mechanisms,strengthening organizational safeguards,widening the financial channels and strengthening infrastructure construction,scientific Planning and guidance,optimization of industrial layout,strengthening point control,ensuring key links,weakening border effect,achieving win-win cooperation and other aspects of the "cross-border beef project" to develop feasible countermeasures and proposals.And hope that through the research and induction of the project,it can provide reference for cross-border economic cooperation and public management in other fields.
