Worm gear and worm drive is widely used in various transmission mechanisms because of its advantages of smooth transmission,large transmission ratio range,low transmission noise,safe and reliable operation.With the rapid development of modern industry,the transmission accuracy of worm gear and worm gear in high-end equipment is also put forward higher requirements.At present,most of the accuracy detection methods of worm gear pair are to place the worm gear and worm respectively in the gear measuring center and other detection instruments for static detection,obtain the contour parameters to evaluate the accuracy level.At present,this kind of method is the most widely used,but the worm gear pair transmission device is finally used with worm gear and worm.The high precision of a single part cannot fully guarantee the high precision meshing transmission.It is mentioned in GB/T 10089-2018 that the comprehensive influence of individual parameters of the gear teeth on the transmission system of the worm gear pair during the engagement process can be reflected through the single-side engagement test of the worm gear pair.Therefore,based on transmission error detection,this paper carries out the design of the structure and control system of the instrument for dynamic accuracy inspection of medium and large worm gear pairs.The maximum diameter of the instrument for worm gear detection is 1400 mm.The main research contents and achievements of this paper are as follows:(1)The development status of measuring instruments and methods of gear transmission error and gear accuracy at home and abroad is analyzed and discussed,the definition of transmission error and the source of worm gear pair transmission error are expounded,the transmission error measuring system(FMT system)is studied,and four measuring schemes of worm gear pair dynamic tester are introduced.(2)Based on the measurement principle of FMT system and the meshing form of worm gear and worm gear,the overall structure layout of the worm gear pair dynamic inspection instrument was carried out,and the existing parts were physically mapped.Threedimensional modeling software was used to carry out the design of all the parts of the instrument,including the beam,the center,the workbench and the transmission system,and the finite element simulation of the beam assembly was carried out.The dynamic characteristics and static characteristics are obtained,and the structure is optimized according to the simulation results,and the security and feasibility of the scheme are demonstrated.(3)According to the motion requirements of the worm gear pair dynamic inspection instrument,the overall scheme of the control system is designed.The worm drive motor is tested by the fuzzy algorithm and PID algorithm combined control algorithm,and the traditional PID control system model and fuzzy PID control system model are built respectively in Simulink,and the control effect of the two is compared by simulation.The results show that the fuzzy PID control algorithm has better control effect and can meet the control requirements of worm drive.The upper computer software of the control system is developed and the control function of servo motor is realized.(4)The mechanical accuracy was verified after the prototype of the worm gear pair dynamic tester was assembled,and the measured errors were all less than the allowable errors.After debugging the electrical system,all the actions can run smoothly and meet the control requirements of worm gear pair detection.The field test of the instrument was carried out,and the transmission error curve of a set of worm gear pair was obtained successfully.The analysis results show that the test data of the instrument is accurate and has good repeatability,which meets the expected development requirements.
