As an important appliance in everyday life,smart home products will elevate people’s quality of life to a new level,and as people’s demands for quality of life continue to rise,the focus of product design evolves from functional needs to user-centred emotional satisfaction.When users use bionic products,they will consciously decode the function and meaning of the product image,which in turn makes the bionic form into a carrier of rich emotions.Therefore,the key to bionic design is to realise the unity of imagery and cognitive matching between the bionic product and the bionic organism.This topic takes living creatures as the research object,conducts research on the morphological bionic design of smart home products,and generates new product morphological design solutions based on user imagery needs.Firstly,the purpose and significance of the research are collated,and scientific statistical analysis methods such as user interviews,questionnaires,literature research and case studies are used to analyse the unfolding process of product form mimicry,elaborate on the cognitive matching ambiguities that exist in each link,determine the research objectives of the topic,and summarise the key elements in product form mimicry design.Secondly,based on the stylistic imagery of creatures,the evaluation indexes are determined,and the intangible and abstract user imagery is transformed into operable and understandable product forms and design elements.Based on the parametric modelling method to transform the design factors,a morphological expression model of the primary and secondary primitives of the morphological design factors is constructed.The correlation between the biomorphic design factors and the product imagery values is calculated through the grey correlation analysis method,and the correlation degree of each design factor with the creature is derived through the grey correlation formula,and the importance of each factor is analysed according to the magnitude of the correlation degree to obtain the smart home product morphological design factors.Finally,an efficient smart home product form bionic design is realised through practice.This thesis proposes a grey relational analysis-based bionic design approach for smart home product forms,which explores the correlation between the target product form and the biomorphic form.Drawing on a multidisciplinary design approach,a grey relational analysis is used to construct a correlation model between the biomimetic form and the product shape.This method can be used to improve the cognitive fit between product form and biomimetic creatures,as well as the effective expression of biomimetic imagery cognition,making the design of product biomimetic forms more rational and efficient,and providing a new design idea for product form biomimetic design.
