With the arrival of the new era,in order to consolidate and develop the initial well-off level, the state has put forward suggestions on the protection and development of traditional ethnic minority villages for many years in a row, injecting vitality into China’s rural construction.Appeared in the process of rural construction vigorously, however, the phenomenon of lack of local culture, ethnic minority space also met with traditional culture assimilation, melting and other issues, made with history, culture, regional characteristics of the shape of traditional residence in villages and unprecedented impact, cause its nationality gradually disappear,or appear homogenization and patterned construction of different ethnic nationalities,Face the risk of pseudonym. As a relatively independent and complete geographical unit,Northeast China has its particularity in regional studies. The primitive lifestyles of various ethnic groups distributed in this region are greatly different, thus forming a settlement space with distinct folk characteristics. In order to protect the cultural patterns of various ethnic groups and their distinctive ethnic characteristics, and to explore their intrinsic values, this paper was supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China: A Study on the Spatial Evolution of Rural settlement in Northeast China from the policy-Driven Perspective(52078094),Humanities and Social Science Foundation of Ministry of Education: Research on the spatial pattern of traditional minority villages in Northeast China(No.21YJCZH021).Based on the theories and methods of anthropology and sociology, this paper selects Manchu,Korean and Mongolian traditional villages and their dwellings with the largest population distribution, different historical origins and distinct ethnic cultural characteristics in the three provinces of Northeast China as the research objects, classifieds the spatial morphological characteristics, and systematically summarizes their evolution characteristics and laws.At the same time,in order to avoid the limitations of single qualitative research in depth, breadth and emphasis, this paper uses the graphical and quantitative analysis methods of space syntax to explore the relationship between spatial structure and human social activities. This paper makes a comparative study on the morphological evolution of traditional villages and dwellings of ethnic minorities in northeast China, and discusses the influencing factors and mechanism of the similarity and difference of spatial forms of different ethnic groups in a more intuitive, comprehensive and three-dimensional way.Firstly, the research starts from the evolutionary background of geographic space, historical evolution, ethnic development and cultural characteristics, analyzes the causes and spatial and temporal distribution characteristics of the northeast minority settlements, and discusses the material and cultural environment of the northeast minority villages in order to understand their development basis and provide a prototype for the subsequent exploration of the evolution path.Secondly, the morphological characteristics and deep fabric of various minority villages and dwellings are summarized in detail, and the internal social activity track is verified by using spatial syntax diagram and data language. From the perspective of village, the paper explores its form elements, organizational structure, spatial hierarchy and other directions, and extracts the results of the influence of the original form on social changes to analyze the path and change rules of village evolution. From the perspective of residential houses, this paper analyzes the national space norms, spatial scale of use and yard combination relations of residential houses, and makes clear the influence of residential houses on modern production and life style,so as to interpret the continuation of its spatial relations and future development trend. Finally,it compares the evolution process of traditional villages and dwellings of different ethnic minorities, analyzes the factors that lead to the similarities and differences in the evolution, and summarizes the commonness and individuality in the process.Through the evaluation of the evolution of traditional villages and dwellings of ethnic minorities, more targeted protection and construction strategies are put forward,so that the forms of traditional villages and dwellings of different ethnic minorities show their unique ethnic characteristics.
