Research On Spatial Activation Of Qiang Traditional Villages In Bazhou Town,Wenchuan Based On Spatial Syntax

In the context of rural revitalization,strengthening the protection of traditional village dwellings and exploring rural characteristics has become an important issue in the current era of development.The rapid development of the economy is in stark contrast to the backwardness of rural areas.The population of impoverished villages who go out to work has led to severe village hollowing out and waste,and there is an urgent need to stimulate vitality to break the hollow trap.Although the development of tourism has driven the rural economy in recent years,the homogenization model has caused significant damage to the spatial form of the original village,lacking regional characteristics and village identity.Based on this,the goal is to revitalize traditional villages and stimulate their vitality.Firstly,extensively collect and organize the relevant theories of spatial syntax and traditional village activation,and conduct a theoretical foundation analysis.Secondly,spatial syntax was used to study the spatial characteristics of 13 administrative villages in Bazhou Town,which is close to the provincial capital Chengdu and has a large development space.The spatial vitality was identified by quantifying the results by delving into AER Village.Finally,activation strategies are proposed from the perspective of spatial syntax,activation paths are proposed from the perspective of sustainable development,and activation practices are carried out on Al Village.(1)Propose a common activation strategy for Bazhou Town and a personalized activation strategy for AER Village based on the perspective of spatial syntax: By comparing quantitative results,propose an activation method for traditional Qiang villages based on the vitality spatial characteristics of villages in Bazhou Town area.Summarize strategies for revitalizing the core space of villages,repairing spatial texture,inheriting spatial cultural characteristics,enhancing spatial linear connections,and reconstructing spatial planning sequences;Based on the axis method,convex space method,and field of view method for AER Village,specific activation strategies corresponding to syntactic factors are summarized to guide design practice.(2)Propose a community led village revitalization path based on sustainable development: conduct research on the revitalization path from three aspects: material,social,and spiritual.Propose the activation of village spatial functionality based on spatial syntax in the material layer to achieve local characteristic expression.The social level needs to adjust social organizational relationships,introduce sustainable community models into rural areas,develop the tourism industry,and attract new populations with long-term and short-term health care needs to join traditional villages,jointly forming a new type of rural community,achieving a virtuous cycle of development,and jointly promoting village revitalization.The spiritual level should shape the common memory of new community entities,form a sense of local identity,and further guide the activation of the material level and the optimization of the social level.(3)Based on the design practice of activation strategies and activation paths,the activation of public spaces in the material layer is achieved from the perspective of spatial syntax,and the activation of AER communities is achieved from the perspective of sustainable development.In the activation of the material layer,based on the distribution of vitality points in AER villages and combined with the current geographical environment,the first step is to study the strategy of village spatial transformation to improve environmental quality,and propose to stimulate the vitality of village space,Form a multi center and multi theme development model.Secondly,research on regeneration strategies for abandoned building spaces,proposing to reshape building forms and improve spatial efficiency;Transforming empty and waste buildings to enrich the functions of settlements;The strategy of updating the architectural style and continuing the village context is to achieve the revival of architectural vitality.By conducting strategic research on the creation of characteristic spaces to achieve the integration of culture and tourism,strategies are proposed to create ethnic characteristic trading markets,create agricultural product picking experience spaces,and create demonstration activity blocks and characteristic living spaces to achieve the characteristic villages of AER Village.From the perspective of the community,two strategies are proposed: firstly,to attract other entities to join,jointly build the AER community,and achieve shared development;Secondly,it is necessary to inherit Qiang culture,shape common memories,form a sense of identity in the AER community,enhance pride,and enrich functionality through public spaces such as cultural squares,while promoting communication between new and old residents and achieving community development.By combining qualitative and quantitative analysis of village space,the research is made more scientific.Attempt to clarify the recognition of syntactic factors on the characteristics of vitality space,provide activation suggestions for the protection and development of traditional Qiang villages in Bazhou Town area,and provide reference for other Qiang traditional villages to seek distinctive and differentiated development through the practical strategy of AER Village.Provide a sustainable development path of community-based thinking for the activation of traditional villages.
